Well i have to ask has anyone made the alien an invasion monster yet? All i can do so far is use team deathmatch and put me on one side as a predator and the whole other team as aliens and then use arena with the skirth blades to make it seem like you have wristblades. Though its not quite working out as well as i planned, sorry for my lack of research on this topic. |

You know, you could just hop on ebay or amazon and get a copy of AVP2. That was a dang good game. |

Yes someone has already created alien models for invasion, I know the facehugger and the alien drone exist on a few UT2004 servers. Do some searching on Nalicity, Beyond Unreal, FilePlanet or some other file-full place. Not that I know where it is. Is AVP2 still in stores? I could never find it, 3 years on and it is still and awesome game. |

AVP gold edition is pretty kick ass, i played the demo. |

Our server has both the Alien drone and Alien Queen in invasion. Your plan will likely fail though, as in larger numbers those bitches will rape you without removing your pants first. Also: James, you play Chaos a lot? Our clan started off as a duel-melee clan and only quite recently expanded to BW. |

There are several versions. The oldest had the alien drone model like a bot with a UT assault rifle. This was before the Nali Fighter code in satore monster pack, and the weapon can't be changed. If I remember correctly this version was called AliensInv, and originally came out for ut2k3. The second version had the queen, drone, and facehugger, with better animations, better sfx, close combat attacks, acid blood that damages you, leap attacks, and body parts that can be shot off. This version of them has karma physics on the corpses as well, I believe it was called EDWMutes. The third and newest version was a revision by Iniquitous, something of a guru on new invasion monsters. His version killed some bugs (no pun intended), fixed animations for online use, and removed the karma on the corpses to reduce server lag. His version has the queens and the drones, but dropped the facehugger due to incomplete animations. Iniquitous' version can be found at the link below, along with 3 close combat predators and 4 shoulder cannon predators (that can cloak!), amongst other monsters unrelated to AVP. You'll have to hunt around for the other two versions. http://ini.hazelwhorley.com/monsters.html I'd recommend the EDWmutes version for karma physics on death and facehuggers in offline play, or Iniquitous' fixed version if you are going to play online. My question in exchange in fair trade for the above info: there used to be a 2k3 mute called 'InvasionAddon' that made gamemodes using invasion with CTF, ONS, and BR maps... you would spawn on red team's side, and all the monster would be spawned from the flag/goal/core region of the opposite base and then assault you. 2k4 broke this, and I've been looking for a replacement ever since. Vehicle Invasion is the closet, but it still has monsters popping up around you at spawn points you're not looking at. Some mods did Defensive Invasion, but they only work with custom made maps. Has anyone found a 2k4 compatible version that accomplishes the same thing? I'll keep an eye out for a download link on the EDWmutes, and will post it here if I locate one. |

Well the Marine capeign on AVP2 was pretty creepy the first time I played it. Im not surprised if AVP was not too far behind that. |
