Post subject:  ACTION_FireWeapon for mounted XMV850 Minigun problem

I set up a ballistic pawn and a scripted sequence to control it with. I am able to get the pawn to fire the unmounted minigun and switch to the mounted firing mode. However, I can't get the pawn to fire the gun when it is mounted. Any conventional weapon works fine. The only thing I can think of is this. The mounted minigun, machine gun, etc. seems to be actually a vehicle that stays stationary. Maybe you would need to tell the bot to enter the vehicle?

I believe the mounted guns have a different class. I'll check right now.

Alright, the new class has _TW at the end of the name. Other than that it should have the same name as the regular weapon.

I think Herr General is right. It does seem to be a vehicle because you can enter/exit it by pressing E. I observed that after switching to the mounted mode, about 4-5 seconds later the pawn appears to exit the weapon and then can move around, for instance if you nudge them by shooting them or something. So I guess the problem is how to make the pawn stay "in" the mounted weapon and then how to make it fire? I've tried pretty much every logical ACTION the AIscript has and nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?

Oh, yeah, it is a vehicle.

To be more precise, the mounted weapon is a vehicle weapon, with the vehicle class being called (at least in the M95 MG's case) M925Turret. M925MachineGun_TW is the weapon class of the M925Turret vehicle that you use.

I knew it was a vehicle due to the fact you can exit/enter it with E.
