I'd like to donate, but i don't want to use eGold. Please give us some other choices like personal checks or Pay Pal. The Ballistics Weapons Mutator has made UT2004 into an entirely new game...at least to me. And I play it more than I ever did before. The best part are the mines and the grenades because they add strategy to the game since placement is everything. One of my favorite moments was watching the enemy bots construct a huge mine field while I was in invisible mode. Then when they were all standing in it, I threw an explosive device in it and detonated it.

this donation thing is annoying!! Unfortunately for us, PayPal just don't work for us.. theres always direct transfer.. ;)

Actually, there was beleived to be a miniature ice age back in medieval times, and before that mini ice age, Greenland was in fact green. At least according to a show I recently watched a bit of on the Science channel.

But anyways, lets just bring this topic back on topic, shall we? ;)

still working on a proper donations system.
due to our location, we are heavily restricted with means of recieving money...something to do with all these international finance laws since 911 :(
there are ways to buy e-gold with a credit card. just google it.
I do plan on putting up a proper how-to sometime.

Yay, first post..

Alright, let's say - This mod, is the best mod I've ever seen for UT2004. I'm enjoying it like no other mod, and way more than the original game. You have done a damn good job, and I would like to donate, not much, as I am not rich, but something, to show you how much I appreciate your work.

Problem is: Can you use Euros? I guess you can, that shouldn't be a problem with Paypal.
Now the second, bigger problem: What the heck is eGold? I don't know what it is, and I wouldn't really want to use it ... B)

Now if you figure out how to donate with the "known" stuff, like PayPal, I can donate, but no eGold for me I fear..

Till then, I will stroll around the forums and help where I can - Don't worry, I know how to behave, I'm mod at a big site, if that means anything

You (Runestorm) should post your banking details so people can send you direct transfers. E-Gold requires a direct transfer anyway, so you might as well cut out the middleman :)

Sorry, Paypal is not South Africa friendly :(

e-gold is your best bet. I'll go dig up a website X found actualy which seems pretty good, and provides various ways of getting money in to e-gold (and out actualy).

No what? I used e-gold today and I had to do a direct transfer to buy the gold. Unless you're talking about using a credit card instead, but less people have those...

Or did you mean no we can't send you direct transfers? If so, that's a shame. E-gold doesn't seem to be a huge hassle but sending the money directly to you guys would be easier still.

If you PM SB I'm sure he will give you the details you need....

The problem with a direct transfer is that there's normal fee's involved on both ends, which takes a chunk out of the amount, whereas we let the e-gold build a little bit, so the impact of the fee's is a bit reduced :)

There are all sorts of ways to get money in to e-gold, from credit cards, to direct transfers, postal orders etc. etc.
