How about making the burn damage from the flamethrower (can't remember the name) dependent on the amount of fuel you have sprayed on your opponent? More fuely -> more burny. :> Incendiary grenades could be affected too. Btw I suggest increasing the fuel consumption since flamers consumes fuel pretty fast in real life. I would also like to have the shake effect removed from it. |

In reality, more fuel just makes them easier to ignite and makes them burn longer. Just like it does now. I don't have any problem with how it works. And any flamethrower is going to shake around if you're running around as you fire it (a stupid idea). |

The victims SHOULD receive more damage depending on how much of the body is covered with fuel, might be an interesting thing to add. |

Fire extinguishers in medpacks please. It only makes sense. I'd like to see the flamethrower expanded upon. Right all you need is to spray with the altfire and ignite with primary. It ought to have two firemodes: Aerosol mode and "Hose" mode. In aerosol, the primary flames are spread much wider but have shorter range, and simply scorch whatever they touch instead of leaving puddles of flaming liquid behind. Enemies are physically pushed back by the flames, making it very dangerous to attack head-on, though takes a bit longer to actually set a person on fire with it, and they don't stay lit for too long. The alt-fire would pretty much be exactly what the current alt-fire is, spraying a fuel mist into the air to ignite and explode with fire or an explosion. In "hose" mode, you get a stream of flaming liquid, much like the current primary fire. It would have longer range than the aerosol mode, and would splash around and leave pools of flame behind. However, it would be much more dangerous to use in close-quarters, as the fuel can easily splash back and burn you. It doesn't have the physically repellent aspect of the aerosol mode, but it sets people on fire more quickly and for longer periods. Its alt-fire would simply have you hose down an area with fuel to create a lake of fire when ignited by the primary fire or explosion. Hitting a wall would have the fuel splash off and create a puddle on the floor near that wall. |
