One of many great things about BW is the fact that it can make you just laugh out loud at times. I wish I had the forethought to record this, but the desrcription might bring a grin to you face. Tonight me and the group was playing a ctf map called Terra. Two bases sit on oppsite sides of a canyon with three paths leading to the base. There is a snipers nest placed high up, and I was being top gunner with a minigun turret. The map is big and deep so figures look like ants as they cross the valley. I had been in place for a few minitues hosing down blue snipers and splattering folks chasing the flag bearer across the valley floor. When out on the far side pops out a single player making a run to my base. 'Well sad for you" I think as I trigger a few short bursts from the mini wicth obligingly spins up and spits death. The first burst leaves a cloud of blood in the air, and the second burst finshes the job and the figure begins to tumble. Then the body is sorounded by a green fog. "Aha!! He was wearing a flamethrower" Ithink as I get ready to enjoy the fire works. The poor corpse indeed goes airborne on a spurt of green gas that quickly turns into a roaring colum of flame headed straight at me. If I had been smart I would of jumped off the gun and headed for the nearby teleporter but nooooo , I sit there and watch my on rushing doom thinking "It will turn and fly off in differant direction they always do", as the tank whizzes right up through the slot in the sniper room bearing the skeltal remains of the player and slams into the ledge right above me and explodes killing me and showering the room in flames. Spent the next thiry seconds or so laughing till my sides hurt. Even when it is killing you dead BW does it in style. |

Heres mine: Me and my buddy was standing in front of each other, he was with G5 and i was with Tactical Shotgun. He fires his launcher and i'm fireing my shotgun, i busted his missile right after it leaved the barrel. Explosion of missile splatted him in to bits

I got one. I was playing in our server one day and was basically just going ninja on people with the combat knife, when I see one of my clan-mates and decide to kill her. I run at her at full sprint. She pulls out a G5. Oh crap. I reach her. I begin to carve my name into her face just as she fires. I hear the sound of the rocket launching, but instead of an instant explosion, it explodes a few feet behind me. It turns out that the "Long gun" feature pushed the rocket launcher harmlessly to the side while I stabbed away. She died. She was quite displeased. |
