Hi, I mostly use bloody hell when playing with normal guns. Why ? Because well, it improves the gore a lot but also improve what is so wrong with UT2K4 : The players' sizes. Well it does improve it a lot and the mutator brings in awesome gore effects and when I couple it UT Classic, I get the best UT2K4 experience I can get. For me it is a dream to have these issues being fixed ! BUT ! As you can expect I have a concern, even though everything is cooler, the player's movements speed is slower, of course I can enable Ballistic sprint, but usually in UT you do not have to press on a key to go fast. So how could I configure my mutator for player movements not to be affected and be set as in the usual game ? This is really important because I'm just willing to keep playing UT2004 if I can have a perfectly set Bloody Hell. And I might have a LAN party next week-end and I am the admin, but I want it to feel more like UT or UT3... So all the success lies on your hands. Thank you for replying. |

I'm pretty sure that's not supposed to happen. EDIT: I just tried it out. I think you're on to something here. You definitely move slower with Bloody Hell on than without. This is definitely going to the buglist for the Beta.. Thanks for this. I can't believe I never noticed it before. |

Glad you noticed because of me, well I sure hope they can fix this with the 2.1 update wich is on its way. It's very important as I said previously. Everyone is looking for a mod that fixes player size and improves gore, and bloody hell is it. |

The reason why this happens is because bloody hell forces the player class into the BW class, which, subsequentially, has the adjusted size and movement. At least, if I'm understanding how bloody hell works correctly, thats why it does that. Its a bit late to do anything about this in the patch, as its pretty damn close to public release. Sorry Shetten.

If the devs see this before the release, tweaking a number or two shouldn't take long. |

That would be a good idea, actually. I dug around the .uc folders and found the different movement speeds. UT2004 ground-speed: 440 Ballistic ground-speed: 350 If you can't find a groundspeed mod (which I haven't been able to do), you can use AdminPlus and as an admin, type "admin set pawn groundspeed 440" in console before each match to restore running speed to the the players to UT2004 values. Crouch speed is also decreased in Ballistic it seems, so you can also type "admin set pawn crouchedpct 0.5" if you feel so inclined. |

Thank you very much ! This might be a very good solution, I am on my way to test it out. Oh excellent, it did work properly but now I am even more cocky about player's size, laughs*. |

Player size ain't really that big of an issue... if anything, it would be better to stick with BW's default size... Good luck with the LAN party. |

I really think the movement limits should be optional. Cuz I love Bloody Hell in normal UT matches. |

While admin plus works, you may want to try something more automated, such as the TAWW mod. That can configure running speed |
