It's cool....... have to admit, the iron sights "turning off" while moving changes game play quite a bit..... I was expecting to be able to move in sights mode, just slowly. |

It was suggested, but it was too buggy and difficult to pull-off properly at BW's current state. |

The SAR and the Ranger rifle are cool, though. |

If you got the walk key still binded, I believe if you hold that in with irons sites on you can move and I know you can move with sights up if crouching. |

Still, it would be really nice if you just went into "walk" mode when the iron sights are up... crouch-walking is just too slow... |

I usually only use the sights when sniping, and I crouch then anyway, so I never even noticed that change. On topic, OH HOLY ****ING GOD Evolution is the sex!! I love how your weapon pool expands to fit your playstyle, but I have to say it can be hard to change weapon sets deep into a match. Overall great work guys, keep it up!
Only complaints at this point: I've had a couple times when laser sights refused to activate, but I haven't managed to reproduce the bug, so I have no idea what would cause it. Also, the animations on the S-AR's stock are kinda awkward, they seem a little too close to the camera. Everything else is great so far, and the Ranger is startlingly good for sniping despite its lack of a scope. EDIT: I never knew that, Kaboodles, probably because I've never bound my walk key.

Actually, walking does have a use in BW. Crouching has you moving at 3/10 speed, while Walking has you at 1/2. So it's slightly faster. EDIT: I didn't know it either until I looked at the code. I never used walk (although I did have it bound). |

The SAR-12 has a nice pulse rifle feel, although I have not noticed any great difference between having the stock in and the stock out. Maybe slightly more accurate with the stock out. The R9 is a nice addition, it is nice to have a semi-auto rifle in the style of hunting rifles and older combat rifles. For some reason it seems to me like having a bayonet would really complete the R9. Love the new modes, love how bodies seem to stay in Conflict mode. Ai seems to handle much better on the bots, they quickly flip to close combat weapons when they get in your face unless they have a shotgun, and seem to choke much less on reloading. Have not seen them using the mounted guns yet. |

I have seen bots use mounted miniguns in BW 2.0, but their AI is hopeless when it happens. I'll try to find out later today if 2.1 has sorted this out. |

Im glad im not the only one who thinks the SAR-12 looks like the pulse rifle from aliens. I think i'll be playing conflict mode for weeks, because the bots seem to act smarter there and its a damn good change. |

I really like the R-9..... I think it has a bit of an M-1 garand vibe going with it. |

Yeah, the R-9 owns, along with everything else. I love Conflict. One thing: The MGs on the new Manta and Hellbender seem to do very little damage or something, at least to vehicles being used by the player. I was in a Goliath taking about 1-2 damage from every hit from a Manta's MGs. |

Yeah and also the Tarantula rocket launcher is far too weak! Either change all weapons of all vehicles, or keep it balanced.. |

One can sub mirage vehicles in the meantime. IMO they are the closest to the ballistics vibe. |

I was in a Goliath taking about 1-2 damage from every hit from a Manta's MGs. I was kinda hoping for the mantas blasters to be replaced with twin M353s. Single M353 on the "passenger" position in the hellbender, with the rear turret being a twin M925 mount. |

Whats the point having 2 machine guns on one vehicle? I was hoping the rear turret would be a railgun. |

I'm so unhappy to be moving into a new flat while 2.1 gets released and I don't have my gaming computer at hand! BTW, I'm deeply impressed by the changelog... looks like some of my dreams came true. |

Ouch, thats gotta bite, Baklajan. Here's to hoping for a (relatively) hassle-free period of moving over your stuff! As for the vehicles, please keep in mind they are just small tweaks to make them fit a bit better with BW's theme. If more time was available, they probably would've been really awesome changes, but alas, there wasn't as much time available to work on them as wished. |

Oh, gotta tell you the tale of me piecing together a $4000 PC for over three weekends ending up with a hi-end Stacker case having to be tortured with drill and pliers in order to fit my kustom kooling system in and finally the USB cables leading from the USB front panel to the motherboard failed to work (you see, it was quite a bit of pain to diagnose the problem since they were put UNDER the motherboard according to the family tradition) and the godless GF 8800 Ultra only added to the overall screwage (the word may not exist in English yet it's the only proper term) by heating all the air inside to 60 degrees of Celsius - I was a bit too inventive modifying it in a way that would allow it to vent all the heat in all known directions, leading to a stable temperature of 60 degrees everywhere inside the case instead of the traditional 90 degrees of the card itself and 30 degrees everywhere else - I don't know why they make such hot videocards, but cooling it down to 60 degrees as you see resulted in a real disaster for the rest of the system... I spent three nights fixing things up, now there are ten 120 mm coolers inside, the damned card never goes above 70 degrees and the overall noise is about 20 Db only (almost inperceptible) but it was a real nightmare to have the things properly assembled after five years of not laying my hands on any chips, save probably for installing a new videocard back in 2004... the morale of the story is that you should think twice about trying to learn in practice how to build a PC of your dreams while moving to a new flat and working twenty hours a day on weekdays!!!! Or excuse me but the words were utterly forcing their way down my fingertips, I still have to calm down. As for the vehicles, I always wanted to see the stock UT2004 vehicles (maybe slightly retextured) supplied with BW weapons and given a brand new balance and behavior, I seriously think that there's no need to design completely new ones since the existing ones never had a good chance in vanilla BW due to being balanced and implemented in a very lame way, now I hope RS will give the stock vehicles a second birth by making them work the way they should have been working since 2004! Yay, fixing the childhood trauma. |

If I only knew how to send money from Russia to Africa, I'd pay RS the price of an UT3 copy for their hard work on BW 2.1 since I no longer need UT3 as long as there's no BW2.1 in it. Why the hell I'm not living somewhere in Poland, Norway or USA?! Sending money from my country is a real pain in the ass. And RS, thank you for understanding, the changelog looks like that all of the controversial issues were put to a compromise, including the sore points about LG and AM67. I'm really hoping to see some energy guns in future releases since now the ballistic arsenal is nearly 95% complete. Keep up with the good work! |

Still poking about with the new features but got to say I adore the two new weapons. Both fit into niches within BW and they both fit perfect like. The ranger is so close to the feel of me firing my old M1 Garrand it is scary, and has become the meduim range weapon of choice :however, for close the assult rifle in burst fire is queen of the match. Good job on the looks and the animations. |

I played some Conflict gametype in a bridge of fate, that was very fun to gear myself as I desired. It was very enjoyable and the bots acted cleverly. The two weapons are a very great addition and many things made me smile. Congratulations to the team, it's my favorite mod. |

Congrats Runestorm, and excellent release once again! the dual wielding seems to work fine now, the new weapons are an excellent addition (the ranger is my new favority long arm!), the tweaked vehicals fit BW much better, and Conflict is prooving quite fun thus far! I'm all smiles today!
Now to get some more playtime in, i have yet to fully enjoy it all. |

I absolutely LOVE the ranger rifle! Even though its strangely covered in mounts and doesnt have a scope, flashlight, bayonet, or laser to be seen... Why the accessory mounts if its completly plain? |

I saw Junkwar's riot shield on the Conflict team weapons configuration screen and was kinda disappointed that it only worked with Junkwar weapons. Would it be possible to get it to work with Ballistic weapons too? Like the dual-wieldable pistol weapons or melee weapons? |
