I was messing around with the ability to choose what weapons each team has access to during the beta testing, and I came up with a pretty cool scheme. Its something like what I imagine OutWorlders would use vs. what I imagine UTC soldiers would have. Basically I took what seemed to be the weapons companies more likely to have private contracts with the UTC military for one team and have the more independent companies for the other side. That means NDTR Industries, UTC Defence, and Enravion Combat Solutions weapons for the more military side, the other companies for the other side. UTC Armaments: * SRS900 Battle Rifle * AM67 Assault Pistol * EKS43 Katana * FP7 Grenade * FP9A5 Explosive Device * G5 RPG Launcher * M353 Machinegun * M50 Assault Rifle * M75-TIC Railgun * M806A2 Pistol * R78A1 Sniper Rifle * RX22A Flame Thrower * S-AR 12 * T10 Toxic Grenade * X3 Knife * XMV-850 Minigun Outworlders' Armaments: * MRS138 Tactical Shotgun * RS8 10mm Pistol * XRS-10 Machine-Pistol * HVC-Mk9 Lightning Gun * A42 Skrith Sidearm * A73 Skrith Rifle * D49 Revolver * Fifty-9 Machine-Pistol * M290 Shotgun * M763 Shotgun * M925 Machinegun * MRT6 Shotgun * NRP57 Pineapple * R9 Ranger Rifle * XK2 SubMachinegun The weapon sections look a bit unbalanced, considering the UtC side gets all the superweapons except the Lightning gun, but in a 1 on 7 godlikes match in IA, I stand a fair chance when I just grab an R9 and lod up on ammo, armour, and health. Hey not bad, I can emagine this working great in onslaught. Team specific items. First thing you need to do is make sure each side has an "equivalent item". Just like in Counterstrike, the 2 sides both have an equal counter to the other sides weapons. - The UTC need a shotgun, give em the shiny MRS138 Tactical Shotgun, its looks like a good military weapon* - Outworlders need a sniper rifle, give them the railgun. UTC already have the minigun to compensate. Etc, etc... *Its ok if the outworlders have the rest of the shotguns, they need something over the UTC's flamethrower, so long as the UTC have a shotgun equivalent. So we might have something like this UTC Armaments: meelee: * X3 Knife sidearm: * AM67 Assault Pistol * M806A2 Pistol close range: * XRS-10 Machine-Pistol * MRS138 Tactical Shotgun medium range: * M50 Assault Rifle long range: * SRS900 Battle Rifle * R78A1 Sniper Rifle dispersive: * FP7 Grenade * FP9A5 Explosive Device * RX22A Flame Thrower * T10 Toxic Grenade suppresive: * G5 RPG Launcher * M353 Machinegun * XMV-850 Minigun Outworlders' Armaments: meelee: * EKS43 Katana sidearm: * MRT6 Shotgun * RS8 10mm Pistol * D49 Revolver close range: * Fifty-9 Machine-Pistol * M290 Shotgun * M763 Shotgun medium range: * S-AR 12 * XK2 SubMachinegun long range: * M75-TIC Railgun * R9 Ranger Rifle dispersive: * HVC-Mk9 Lightning Gun * NRP57 Pineapple suppresive: * M925 Machinegun But for skrith weapons im unsure, should they be a seperate leigon of armaments? What do you think? feel free to add/remove/edit my list. [edit] who are the outworlders anyway? Pirates? Mercenaries? Colonial militia? We could have a UTC vs pirates thing going on here. |

Where on earth do you set that up? i dont see any team specific stuff in any of the mutators, and no place to edit whats avalible in Conflict, how's it done? |

It's on the game settings tab when you're setting up a game. There's a whole lot of options there so you'll probably have to scroll down. |

Ha, i totally forgot about my Skrith Coiled Grenade Launcher and its Coiled Sniper rifle counterpart. |
