I dont know i may have just been really tired while i was playing. But i could have sworn i shot down a g5 missle with a R9. Is it possible or am i just stupid as usual?

It can be done, with any bulleted weapon, ya can shoot down G5's

Yeah, for heavens sake even explosions can blow them up.

Also, i think i might have once thrown a pineapple (grenade... you silly) at a G5 and it exploded.

It's your only defense against lock-on mortar launches... that, and having a roof above your head.

My friend and I had a duel with G5's on facing2 once. We'd each fire our two rockets and then whip out our other guns and try and shoot down the missiles coming at us. Good fun :)
