I was just noticing that the ejection port is on the left side of the SAR. Won't those righties burn their arms on the casings? I was just wondering, it seems like the rest of the BWs eject on the right. BTW, why does RS hate bullpups so much? |

For one, noone has sponsored one, and two, Bullpup weapons are rather overdone nowadays. |

Bullpup weapons are "rather overdone" these days? I mean, there's probably a reason for that, right? Like you can have a weapon with a full-length barrel, but a compact profile. I'm guessing it's RS's aesthetic preferences (I happen to like bullpups myself), so it's all cool, but I just thought the concept of the SAR (and probably the AM67, that's a long barrel!) would make perfect sense in a bullpup configuration. Incidentally, there's a real life rifle called the SAR-21, which is a bullpup design. But to each their own, surely every gun-nut has their own favorite aesthetic designs. Lol, I begin to suspect RS intentionally built the SAR-12 to eject on the right so that it couldn't be a bullpup (brass to the face, eh?)! |

I asked that question about the SAR-12 too.
Its just for aesthetic reasons.
As for a lack of bullpup styled guns, well, its likely not due to however "overdone" it is, but likely, that there is only 3 conventional assault rifles, one of them sponsored (so that was purely RedShift's design), and one is an M16 styled weapon, which doesn't work as a bull-pup, but is a very good standard assault rifle, and the SAR-12 has a collapsible stock, something very useful for the conditions its often used in. Not too sure about this, but I'd think a collapsible stock wouldn't work to well in a bull-pup configured gun.
Also, the SAR-12 was designed some time ago, and they wanted to put it in for a while. When they designed it, I'm sure they had something very specific they wanted. Of course, I would never mind a few extra assault rifles, with several of them being of bull-pup design.

Wait, a bullpup revolver? How on earth would that work? Edit: Hehe, yeah, I figured that was the case. |

Sorry, I meant to type AM67, don't know why D49 came out. I'll edit that. Yeah, a bullpup should pretty much have the stock it needs, no point in folding. Eh, who knows, if BW keeps on truckin', Nvidia fixes their drivers, and I can get a server running BW in my house, I may just sponsor something. I've never run a server before, I don't know how I'll rein in all the server packages I want to use. |
