I'm just a bit curious, what does the melee weapons (not JW) special do? it blocks, obviously, but what? I think they should block bullets, so as to kinda even it out a little bit. but you could only block them if you're facing the right direction. And maybe when you block bullets, there could be different animation everytime a bullet is blocked. Just picture how cool it would be to be able to just move your knife back and forth very fast (about as fast as the primary attack, maybe faster) and knock bullets away, Or even Implement the different animations to LOOK like you're actually BLOCKING another melee weapon's attack. As for the Knives, I think there should be a way to make them poisonous when thrown, but overall they should do less damage per hit, Maybe as a weapon special 2... Thanks |

the blocking modes, only block other melee attacks.. BW UT2k4 development has ceased btw

uh.... That's really gay. I just thought the bullet blocking would be SO sick looking, who gives a crap about realism. realism should include BEING SHOT ONCE AND BEING EITHER KILLED OR INCAPACITATED. not running around until you pick up a floating blue cross lol. or "bandages" Don't think a bandage would fix a large shotgun blast in yor chest.

Yeah but I'm pretty sure there's a limit along the line,however Runestorm could do something along the line of wired reflexes ala Shadowrun. |

You can check out my BW mod in the Showcase section. It really ups the damage values of the guns (along with other things). That is, if you just want realism. Other than that, bullet blocking would... make the melee weaps wellfully overpowered, unless you could make a designated block volume and the bullet somehow hit THAT thing and only then be blocked/deflected. |

![]() Aw cmon, BW is the best thing on UT2k4. Infact, its the best mod I've seen for Ut2k4 and its extremely versatile with being itself as a mutator and is AS ADDICITVE AS HELL. Seriously. |
