At a recent LAN party, I noticed that when I was playing as a client to another server, the grenade launcher would only actually fire a grenade every other time I fired it. It would always do the fire animation and the reload animation, but would not fire a grenade or reduce my grenade count. This does not occur in single-player, or when I was hosting. I did not verify if this occured on other computers at the event. All players were using clean installs of 1.7 patched to 1.71. Also, when firing the M50 from "Iron Sights" mode, launching a grenade results in the grenade being fired from where the rifle would be in non-ironsights mode. |

This is a known bug affecting client and server in net play. |

hey.. yeah we know.. we're trying 2 fix the damn thing.. its tricky.. when playing as client, i've had this as well.. so its a prominent issue..
that iron-sights thing sounds wierd.. but we'll look at it.. |

I know what the Iron sight grenade thing is... Should be east to fix... The client no fire bug is not so simple... It seems to be part of UT itself... The client can fire, but either the message is not getting to the server or the server does not think you should fire (all related to lag) We might have to try going round uneal's maze work fire code... |
