When I switch weapons, the screen flashes yellow and my guy does some crazy dance for about a second, and then he settles down with the new weapon in hand. It doesn't happen every time, but it happens often enough to be crazy annoying.

I'm running XP Pro 64, on an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3800+, with an ATI X1800 PCI Express video card. That bug aside, everything works great. It's a damn good mod.

EDIT: Actually, it's started happening at random moments now, and continues to focus around weapon switching times as well.

i think it might have to do with you running at 64 bit instead of 32 bit.

It seems that the Macbug is now generated by Windows 64bit as well as Linux. This is not good...:(

Okay I just updated my drivers to fix a problem with BF1942, and I'm still experiencing the glitch with this mod. Are other people experiencing the same thing?

I ran this on my friend's computer and he's got the glitch...

Does your friends computer run on XP 64 bit or 32bit?

And yes others are having problems with this glitch except their Mac users... jesus f**king h*ll something is really messed up.

The only ones that seem to be unaffected with this bug are using the Windows 32bit versions.

It is actually called Windows XP/2000/ME/etc. x86 as far as I know, but it could be x32 of course.

Yeah he's running 64bit as well. We're cool like that.

64bit is told to be somewhat less stable than 32bit versions, but of course only the actual 64bit users can confirm that if they have past experience with 32bit. :)

hey.. this sounds dangerously similar to that mac/linux bug.. but again, this might actually be fixed at the moment.. you'll get it with the next release..

OT; what is windows 64bit??

It is the Windows operating system with a 64bit interface, you need a 64bit processor to be able to use it though.

But good to know there is a possible fix for this bug, there are decent amount of people that play this mod with Linux or 64bit Windows. :(

Of course I didn't it, it is just that the words 'quite a bit' don't apply to Mac users. :P

We need to cut him some slack, I think we've done enough bugging. :)
Plus, his Mac is the only way he can possibly post on this forum. ;)

They work great after applying the energy allocation fix that prevents them from burning out the circuits in the quantum molecular processing unit.
