Yeah me too I'm kinda afraid to mess with the crucial component of the game. I only know something about d and that is by disabling reloading and/or typing allammo in the console (gives you 999 amount of bullets).

Hello! I've recently rediscovered BW, and I'm having a whale of a time. However, could anyone tell me if/how it's possible to... a) Disable the movement penalty for heavy weapons? b) Disable the damage penalty for silenced weapons? c) Get Vampire or Super Vampire working in a BW gametype? d) Increase ammo limits for all weapons. I'm hoping these are all simple .ini file changes, because UnrealEd frightens me. I've had a look through the forums, but I can't seem to find the answers. Any pointers appreciated. Thanks! \J |

Aye. The last time I played was on 2.0 (I think... maybe earlier), and I stopped due to a few reasons (one of them being Too. Many. Weapons. - I'd lost count of the times I'd been killed while scrolling through my inventory looking for my favourite boomstick). |

hmm well ammo there is a full ammo mutator on filefront and the weapon stuff mutator could help but its still not accepting bw and im trying to find a way round |

It also helps to memorize the weapon categories and use the number keys to switch. I'm afraid there are no simple .ini settings for this. You'll have to muck about with code in order to get A, B, and D, and I have no idea what C entails. I have gone and done B (for the most part) in my weapon tweaks, but those aren't completely finished and come with a whole lot of other changes you may or may not be interested in. |

Huh. Turns out it was UDamage Reward that was blocking Vampire and Super Vampire, and not any of the BW mutators. Oops. |
