This has been plaguing me for some time, but now I'm registered, I get to tell you all about it. Occasionally, the next/previous weapon function gets stuck in a loop. Sometimes, when I have the XK2 or Fifty-9 in my inventory, I can't mousewheel past it. The 'putting gun away' animation plays, but the equipped gun doesn't change - the XK2 or Fifty-9 comes out again. Wheeling up or down results in the same problem. The only way past this is to press a number key, but if I scroll through the weapons again, the same problem occurs. What's the deal? \J |

That happen to me too. But I set the weapon to certain keys so You can switch easier |

One quick thing... are you duel wielding? If not then yeah I've had this to. The UI does not have this problem,but I presume you turned it off because you don't like it. |

well there is an ption so that when you scroll you bring up a hud adaptation so you can select one its in the ballistic weapons options on the mutator |

I use that occasionaly only. It takes too long to switch to a different weapon in a intense gunfight |

Takes too long to switch weapons in a gun fight...? And I suppose scrolling through 30+ weapons without knowing which one is coming up is easier? But look for a mutator called Super Weapon Bar. It makes a tweak to the HUD and seems to fix this weapon loop problem that seems to actually be related with UT2004 itself, primarily whenever more than one weapon is in slot number 2. I haven't actually tried the Super Weapon Bar since version 1.72 of BW since the BW UI fixed the problem quite thoroughly for me, so I can't make guaruntees that it will actually work with BW 2.1, but its probably worth a shot. |

I dont use the mouse scroll much because if you turn off weapon UI then some weapons disappears from you inventory. The way I counter that problem is by binding a particular weapon group to a key. For me the melee would be bind to 1, sidearms to 2, shotguns to 3, submachine guns to 4, assault rifles to 5, snipers to 7, and so on and so forth. If you keep pressing a particluar key, then it only cycles through the weapons in that weapon group. If I want to get the deermaster, then i just press 7 three times. Hopefully someone reads all this and understands |

me too. but as I play in loadout I don't use so much weapons, so i use the mouse scroll. [size=9px]Ehrmmm... it isn't becoming off-topic?[/size] |
