I've been playing BW with cDom (Classic Domination (2) - http://cdom2.provinggrounds.com/ but currently down) and Greed ( http://mysterial.linuxgangster.org/Greed/ ), and I've noticed that sometimes the weapon selection menu won't appear at all. Mouse wheeling changes the weapons as usual, and I can use the number keys, but the menu will. Not. Appear. Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a way around it? Edit : Probably not connected, but when running BW, cDOM occasionally fails to 'see' the domination points. They don't appear on the HUD and the score doesn't increase when you control one. I've not noticed this when I've played cDOM before, without BW... |

In order for the GUI to appear,you need a BW weapon in your inventory and then select it. |

Sorry, I should've been clearer : I'm running both Loadout and Bloody Hell, the GUI box is ticked, and the only weapons active are (a subset of) the BW armoury. During a normal DM/CTF/DOM/ONS/etc game, with this exact set of mutators, mouse wheeling will bring up the menu. Under the two gametypes mentioned above, it doesn't. Does the install order matter? Should I try un/reinstalling BW on top of cDOM and Greed (both of which are currently installed on top BW)? |

You could try it, but it doesn't seem like that would make a difference... Hmm... Interesting problem here. To me it sounds like a conflict between the gametypes and BW, probably more specifically, a conflict with the HUDs. I don't think it'd be very easy to fix, but maybe I'm wrong. |

Strangely enough... yes. Sorta. Turning the GUI off increases the chance that cDom will 'notice' the dom points for the duration of the game. Can anyone else confirm this, or am I just going mad? I recommend people try cDom anyway, since it's The One True Domination gametype - the levels causing grief are primarily cDom-1on1-Condemned, cDom-Condemned, and cDom-Lament. |
