When I join a lan game with BW mutator i only spawn with a melee and a translocator only. All the weapons disappeared from the map so I cant get anything else (this problem doesnt seem to exist with the computer that is hosting the game)

Do you have the Itemizer/Itemizer Tool mutator running too?

No i have not heard of serverpackages. Do i download it and install it?

And no i do not have not the itemizer mutator running, i never used it.

Check the install instructions. It tells you what you need to do for the server packages.

ServerPackages are required for all custom mods in any online game. You add them to Ut2004/System/UT2004.ini. The lines read "Serverpackages=_____", where you fill in the blank with the .u files that come with the mod. Check the thread. it'l explain.

This sounds like the classic 'serverpackages' problem.
The problem is with the host computer. On the server computer, you need to open up UT2004.ini and do what our install instruction tell you. (add our packages to the 'serverpackages' list)

Well its no wonder. Did you even look at that thread? There is no package called BWv21, and there is an equal sign between serverpakage and the package name.

Like this:

serverpackages=BCoreV21

All you have to do is copy the lines from that thread and paste it into your .ini, at the end of the list of serverpackages.

Yes i typed that line you said and a whole bunch of other lines. The reason i typed BWv21 in the last post was because i didnt want to go back and find out the exact words to type. I just wanted to give you the idea that i typed serverpackages=BCoreV21 etc, in and it still didnt work. I did not type BWv21 into the ini

Yes I did and i found something else. The serverpackages=Ballisticv21 etc was already typed in the ini notepad in another section of it.

Hmm... thats weird. Make a backup of that file and try deleting that set of server packages at the end. If that doesn't work, go back to the version you posted and try deleting all BW related packages except one of them and make sure it is in the right order, that is:

BCoreV21
BallisticV21

Followed by the bonus packs.

I too am having the same problem. I added the lines of code instructed in the BWv2 and BWBP4 help files, but I am still having problems with weapons consistently spawning on any of the other computers joining my listen sever. They have also added the lines in their .ini files.

I have also tried to delete the .ini and start fresh, but the same problems occur. Please help!

Is anyone using ad-hoc networks? That's what I'm using and it may be th source of my problems.

After some experimentation, it seems that some weapons are the actual cause of the bug. If selected in "Loadout," The SRS900 Battle Rifle wouldn't allow any weapons to appear in the user's inventory. This, of course, is only occurring on the Joiner's end, not the Host's.

I suggest playing around with different loadout combinations to see if some weapons cause the bug to occur more than others.

And when i spawn i spawn with a sniper rifle for no reason

Has there been any progress on this error? I got the same thing when hosting a small LAN party last weekend - everybody but the listen server had problems getting weapons.
