When I downloaded the last BW update I realised that I couldn't use the ballistic vehicles mutator. Everything else with the update works fine though. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

Hmm, not easy to find out. Try a fresh reInstall of BW, first 2.0 and then 2.1 on top of that.

If you haven't done this already, I cooked up a handy uninstall BAT file for you. Just extract the file in the zip into the main UT2004 folder and run it. All files related to BW2 and BW2.1 will be completely deleted (at least I think all of them will be gone).

I have been planning to write up this script for a while so this is something that can benefit everyone, including me. Ok, I tried what you said, but now ballistic weps doesn't work at all... I don't know what has happened but I'll just move things around and install things until it works XD

I've fixed it now so that I can still play BW, but I still can't use ballistic vehicles for some reason... oh well, thanks anyway bjossi.

The idea is to completely uninstall all files related to BW. Not move anything around, just erase all BW files and start from the beginning. Then just decompress the archives into the UT2004 folder, when using WinZip you want 'Use Folder Names' to be flagged.

I think I did that, but there may have been a couple files that I didn't delete, but to be honest, I'm not gonna bother deleting them all again and search for the ones I missed, I'll just have no Ballistic Vehicles. Thanks anyway though ^^

You didn't try my uninstall script, did you? I tested it and it removes all files extracted by the archives. And to top it off I also made it remove ini files.

Wait a minute, not all people want their ini files destroyed... I'll make the uninstall back them up instead.

the ballistic vehicles doesnt work at all iv tried it you have thor tank in there but you have to use swaptool or something like that

if you installed using zip files, try using the UMOD instead, I often had trouble with the mod when I used the zip files

I noticed on most ONS maps the raptor, paladin and goliath and levi don't get changed. is there a reason for this? somebody said about a VTOL...

That's because those vehicles don't have BW equivalents.

Excuse the helping bump but

What is the problem,

allot of people have different problems.

For instance I could not get the Thor Tank.

I KNOW its an old thread, but people may still have these issues (i had the same problem).

SOLUTION: if you propperly installed bw, you will need the ECE Bonus pack 1.1 for ut 2004, in order to get ballistic vehicles work.
after you downloaded it, you install it, then you add to UT2004.ini under at the server packages ServerPackages=OnslaughtBP line (if it doesn't add it automatically).

After that, it should work (at leas for me it fixed the problem). BTW, yet i only tried with ballistic onslaught gamemode, with Ballistic Vehicles mutator added.

Let me know if that works for you too.

Don't forget to add ServerPackages=BallisticVehicles and ServerPackages=BWBP4Vehicles allso.
