I don't know if this is Ballistic weapon specific problem, but i never saw it in regulat UT2004. the bug/glitch is basicly a lot of coloured planes glitchin and appearing out of nowhere. It doesn't happen on every map I play, and on the maps that do have it i usually have to play a few min before it appears. Well that's weird. Have you ever had heating problems with your computer? It might have something to do with it, maybe. Try running those maps without BW to see if we can target the problem. |

I have this same problem on my brothers Mac computer(osx 10.5.7 or something, leopard i think) Ballistic Weapons triggers the glitch somehow... |

Do you ever experience performance reductions if you play a longer after the artifacts first appear? If this isn't overheating I'm suspecting a memory leak. |

I got a Mac as well James, so i'm kinda glad to see in one way that I'm not the only one suffering. But ofc I rather want this problem to gtfo. I don't know Bjossi, I'll try to pay attention to it. With performance reduction you mean thing like lagging and other things beside graphics malfunctioning? About overheating : Dunno. Apple claims iMac cases are build so that heat can dissipate without the need of a fan. |

I've had this problem too on my G5 Mac (Radeon X800 XT + 10.5) but haven't tried on my MBP. It only happened once or twice to me so I don't think it is a overheating or hardware related issue. It's only happened with ballistic weapons. Normal UT2004 and other games are perfectly fine. As far as I can tell, BW uses some special effects that aren't supported on Macs. Lotta white particle effects that seem to not be displaying right. It could be different now though. Edit: In fact, ever since Leopard I've noticed unrelated weird things happen graphically in UT2004, especially older versions of 10.5. So I'm thinking the blame is probably on Apple's hands. |

OSX 10.5 is the problem, i dont think its the graphics card over heating Bjossi. Performance remains good but a whole lot of graphical errors occur. |
