ya ive been getting ballisticv21 missmatchs ive reisinstalled ALL THE FILES INCLUDEING BALLISTICV21 BUT I STILL GET MISSMATCH VERSIONS AND ITS NOT THE SERVER I KNOW ITS ME BUT IDK WHATS WRONG I EVEN DELETED EVERYTHING IN MY CACHE FOLDER ugh it pisses me off so much someone please end my missary x)

as some of you may know theres this mod called killing floor and they edited the bw to be compatible with killing floor BUT i deleted killingfloor AND I REMOVED ALL THE SYTEM FILES FROM MY SYTEM FOLDER AND IM STILL GETTING MISMATCH ERRORS.... WTF THAT DOESNT EVEN MAKE LOGICAL SENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ~:(

(also you can probley tell i get pissed off easy from my avatar :P)

If you have played KF with BW, some BW files overwritten. If ya want, i upload the files which overwritten, that ya have the original files.

And if you the next time, play FK with BW, save the files which wants to be overwritten.

I know that Ocadam have said an mutator is under constructoon, to solve the missmatches problem, while using own systemfiles, but there wasnt any reply up today :\

um let me see if i can get this straight... You have files that will overwrite the ballistic weapons files for killing floor so i can play on ballistic weapon servers um huh did i get that right? ?! maybe try useing beter use of words. BESIDES i delted all killing floor and balllistic weapon files and im still getting mistmatch errors do you understand that?

Gah... not to be offensive, but your English is terrible, Yoshi.

So what you are saying, is that when you connect to a server, you get a version mismatch? What servers? How many different servers?

And you installed BW into KF? And then you removed KF? And you deleted all of your System files? Is this referring to the BW system files, the KF system files, or all files in there? I'm a bit confused...

The only thing I can suggest from what I'm getting out of this would be to reinstall BWv2, then BWv21. If you can use better words to describe this, maybe I could give you more help.

lol check your own spelling and english lol anyways i installed killing floor ballistic weapons mod and deleted it all of my sytem files and i reinstalled bw many times and i still get version mismatchs AND I TOLD YOU ALREADY IT ISNT THE SERVER ITS ME sheesh dude

It's not so much the spelling as the run-on sentences.

Anyways,what server is this?You say they edited BW to work with KF,that sounds like it could cause some problems if they don't know what their doing.

Uninstall UT2004.

Reinstall UT2004.

Install Ballistic Weapons.


If that doesn't work then you screwed something up and we won't help you.

Why do you deleted all Killing Floor files ?
The Killingfloor files doesnt effect the BW files.
But if you run KF with BW, you have replaced definitively some files in the UT2k4 System Folder.
I can upload the original Files for you.

as far as i know, KF is a TC and BW is a mutator.. you should only need to put BW files into KF folder if your'e playing them together.. BW does not overwrite KF files (in any of our releases) as far as i know..

This may be obvious, but are you sure you installed BW into the correct folders?

Okay, here's what you need to do. Somewhere around the forum ('ll look after school today), the files for the KF version of BW are floating around. In my original mod to KF with BW, it was named a different package. However, when I did a merger with fische and Jack-Carver, they had the code still named on the base BW files. So you actually need the specific BW files for KF, and not the original ones.

After I do a few more things with modelling, I'll be trying to get back on coding and see about getting the files redone into a different package name, like I normally do with all my BW mods.

for your information i did install everything right its jus tthat your files are glitchy and buggy why idk i fixed the problem though at the cost of the map i was working on cause it disapeared for some strange reason the file turned "invisable" ya invisable :? well anyways i fixed it and FOR YOUR INFORMATION it is kinda hard to exsplain this out its like exsplain to your 8 year old children what sex is.

also by this "guy" you mean me yoshi, just makeing things clear.

yes please do that theses files cost me my custom map that i was working on for some strange reason o well...it was gana take two years to make and i only just started it. So ya im hoping you already know about all the errors of the KFBWs if you dont i would gladly tell you of all of them

although you guys in runestorm forums always look for the most clearest and most direct way to understand something, wich ive noticed..idk maybe its just me but every sort of forum has its own comunity that acts in some weird way.

im no noob this is a glitch and i need some exspert help so PWD kitty (you know the owner of pwd also my friend) to help me out weve already been working on it for hours

EDIT: ugh i already tried uninstalling and reinstalling it keeps saying im havein ballisticv21 mismatch WHEN I DONT HAVE THE *censored* FILE

serously WTF im hoping you guys understand now that theres some sort of glitch.

Well if THOSE files put in the KF folder give you version mismatches, then there must be a newer version floating around on servers somehow. That was the last update that I know of for the mod.

And if I think my second guess is right... do you have ANY reference to BallisticV21 in your KFMod.ini? Check for that too.

ok for your information i didnt do anything but ive figured out the problem. My computer thinks the ballisticv21 file exsist when it realy doesnt, it shows up on search but it doesnt exsist. Now i know whats going on so i can give you guys the right information.
