hello!! im new here, i hava a cuestion: why the bloody hell mutator block all the death sounds? the game become bored (and silent :( ) any ideas if this can be changed? :beg:

It shouldn't block them...

Is it set with forcing the BW Pawn class? If not, try turning that back to the default of on.

im not forcing the Bw classpawn... after a lot of matches, i can "found" the death, sound, is very low an very dificulto to hear, i dont know why... anothre thing i see is the mutator change my audio settings, change my custom voice anouncer and force the default ones

This is VERY odd. Are you sure this is the Bloody Hell mut that does this?

Here's a small checklist to go through and see about what might be causing this:

Run UT with no muts (if the issue exists still, then it's your install, not the BH mut most likely)
Run UT with only Bloody Hell (if it has sound issues occuring now, then try a reinstall of BW)

If that doesn't work... I'm outta ideas besides the annoyance of trying to list every mutator you have on your install of UT.

I tihnk I remember something liek this happening...

For starters, what operating system are you running?

Second, if you are using a Ballistic weapon mutator, you don't need to run Bloody hell with it.

originally, this hapens with the bloody hell mutator an others bw mutators, for this reason, i play the ballistic weapons with the W.O.R.M mutator. in this case, i try to run only the blody hell mutator and the standar ut2k4 weapons.... and i have windows xp :grin:
other guys report this problem long time ago in the main ballistic forums :this:

The problem might lay with your ram. It's a possibility that if you run out of memory, sound gets auto disabled so the game can still run. Or at least that's how I'd do it if I programmed the game.

My PC had 1GB of RAM and it ran at 60fps on high settings.

Some mutator started messing with my audio settings. I couldn't be bothered to reinstall UT until my virus protection ran out and the PC crashed. When I reinstalled UT exactly the same it worked properly. Try that?

I mean try reinstalling it, not getting a virus.
