Hum hey, I want to play with my friend online with the ballistic weapons. Just me and him and some bots. How do I do that? |

Like you would start a normal instant action with bots, 'cept over the net. You'll both need the lastest version of UT, and all the assorted mod flavors. Then there's server packages, I don't know much about those. There's another post that will tell you how do that. Then when you're setting up the game, you add bots and under 'server settings' there's an option for a password, stick one on there and make sure you friend knows the game name and password. On the top right of the server list when you're online, there's a game type pulldown, you'll have to change it from deathmatch to whatever you're playing. |
