Thanks for the reply! I seem to be having a separate/different issue. I have checked my serverpackage list and it does not appear to be missing anything. What is happening is that when I use loadout with a ballistic tdm map - the loadout menu will only give you the primary and secondary weapons that I chose. When I use loadout with TAM, the loadout selection shows up for about 2 seconds and then gets replaced with random ballistic weapons! Any thoughts? On a side note/question: when playing in instant action and selecting loadout as a mutator. At the bottom of the configuration section is a spot to x the box for "view advance options". When in game, what is the command string to pull up the advanced menu? |

Loadout TAM requires you to force the Ballistic pawn in order for it to work. The command to bring up BW options in game is "ballistic" |

How do you force ballistic pawn? I changed it in the v21.ini to true - is this all! If so, I still have the same problems. I have also tried adding bForceBallisticPawn=True to the TAM section in the ut2004.ini and still to no avail. Even at some points the loadout will give you two guns and then when you switch weapons you lose the one you had. |

Are you running any other mutators? |

Quad Jump, Revenge, UTextra16, Ballistic Swap |

If I remember correctly, UTExtra implements a hitsound extension to UT2Vote, and may be the issue. |

Here is a post on my fix! Well I checked into utextra and it did not make a difference with it on or off! I ended up turning all my mutators off and added them manually one at a time. Turns out the problem i found was with ut2vote where I had mutators in the servermutate= line. In doing this I gave them more priority than the loadout or swap mutator in the actual game type string. From what I could see this was causing my problems. So I put all mutators for the game type under the game type string and none in the servermutate= list. In doing this it seems to be working properly! |
