I posted the issue on beyondunreal's, and I think I found the culprit. BW. Here's a synopsis At first I thought it was because of serverpackages, but even after copying my server's serverpackages= in the .ini to my client's ut2004-win64.ini, still getting the same. Playing with Titan RPG, Ballistic Weapons 2.5, Jack Carver Weapons, as well as Sergeant Kelly's 9.2 I'll be playing a while and things are going great, but then I lose the ability to change weapons and after I attempt a change, I can't select any, whether I push it's corresponding number or scroll to it using the mouse and choosing fire. I have to wait until I die, or find a vehicle (which I can't seem to fire from either) and start doing some vehicular manslaughter. Any ideas? BTW, I'm playing on my own dedicated server. Update: I noticed as a I got into a tank, the cannon was missing for about 90 seconds, than appeared, I was able to shoot then. If I did a non ucc server (such as ut2004 -server), would this help remedy the problem. I'm under the impression that it's a client/server issue, and even though ut2004 -server is still a server, I wonder if I have more control over how to start it from within the gui. I don't know if it would make a difference, it might if I could start a server from within my client's system folder. |

Those are very strange errors. I don't get those when I host my dedicated testing servers. I think there may be a conflict going on with one of your mutators. Have you tried running the server with BW and only BW? |

Thanks Sgt Kelly, I posted the solution in the wrong thread. I noticed the same issue when I selected a large number of weapons (such as all). I then decided to not do that and select subgroups. If you run a server with them specified in the .ini (serverpackages), the server will crash, a client with the ini files won't crash on startup. I guess it was pulling from the server, and when it got tired, tried to look it up on it's own pc, and couldn't find it. Won't know until I playtest. Top Profile Sgt. This problem still occurred even after doing the above mentioned serverpackages on client and servers. and ensuring all serverpackages loaded by checking it by running a server locally. It seems to have one thing in common. I usually play just team deathmatch, and it occurs after 200 kills on each team. Then the weapons start going nuts. |

You may simply be overloading the game's engine. After 200 kills I'm sure all 80+ Ballistic Weapons have been loaded and may be putting a large strain on Unreal. Though explain this issue in more detail. What do the guns do? |

The weapons don't show on the list to be selected when I scroll thru weapons, but the names do (similar to the serverpackages not being in the ini file on client machines), whedn I select the weapon the item comes up blank (ie empty handed). Sometimes weapons don't appear on map as well. I've had problems w vehicle turrets not showing. |
