Hello bw community, :greetings-waveyellow:
i run bw 2.5 on a small linux server and i
want to change a few things if possible.

-A fully loaded m46 rifle contains 8 proximity mines.
I would prefer 2 mines at max.

-Every kill gives 1 point on the score board.
Is it possible to have different scores for
some weapons? The redwood rifle could score
2 because this gun is not that easy to use.

Finally a little visual glitch.
On some custom maps it sometimes seems like
bullets fly through everything.
Can i fix this in the bw settings?

For all your changes you need a mutator. Bullet penetration is not a bug but a feature and its pretty nice. Some weapons penetrate more, some less, and then there is also the quality of the map important - is it all abt. SMs or BSP.

I know of that glitch, it's a visual bug. Sometimes I see bullets being shot out of a corner of a map where there's no one. It's not penetration, but a bug. I don't know what causes it, since it's not just custom maps, i see it on regular ones too. Sometimes i also see laser pointers aiming randomly through walls in a hallway at nothing in particular.

as for the others... i dunno.

Yep, that bug with the emitters is happening some times. I think it's similar to what happens to the manta's dust emitter.

Now that you mention it, i've seen that one too. In the most random places. usually makes me giggle.
