Okay, fourth support thread. This is getting old even to me lol.

Anyways, in BW 2.5 the G5 RPG Launcher no longer has a target-locking "Javelin" function.

Is this intended, or is it a bug? I searched and found Sgt. Kelly mentioning a nerfed G5, so I guess that could be it.

(Hopefully this is my last support thread :P Pretty sure this is the last weapon I haven't used at all yet since updating, so yeah.)

It's always available I mean you scope and wait to get your target lined in your scope and it goes javelin style
The nerf in the G5 is only about it making less damage, it did 400 in BW 2.1 now it's 200 against infantry (it still does 400 against vehicles)

Really? How long does it take? Before it was only a second or two... the longest I've been able to track a target is maybe 5 seconds-ish and still nothing.

So unless the lock-on time has been extended significantly my copy of BW is bugged, I think. Or maybe I'm doing something wrong? All you have to do is use the sights button and then point it, right?

Do you have the unofficial fix installed? If you read the readme for that fix it does mention that some weapons have modified functionality. In the case of the G5, you must set the firemode to Mortar in order to lockon with it.
