Just a rant, so bear with me. Okay, it's got pretty graphics and all, but the interface feels like I'm playing a console game. So little options to tweak, yeesh. On the gameplay, it feels... I dunno... "heavier" than UT2004. The run almost feels like a walk. Weapons are fine... RS's Thor is just too awesome and the Pitbull is... well... it does what a shotgun does, heh. But most important of all: WHERE'S THE GORE!? Dropping 4-5 large slabs of meat to the floor is NOT called gore. Where's the blood splatter on the floor? The walls? The tiny trickles of blood when you get shot but still ain't dead? UT3 is seriously lacking in this department... Please import Bloody Hell to this game, RS team. Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please with sugar on top? EDIT: Oh, and I forgot to add, Crusader rocks!!! |

The lack of gore is a nice view of the priorities the developers had. Hardcore UT gamers are a peculiar crowd, they think graphics and gameplay are completely unrelated and wouldn't even care if the game used 256 colors max. It is not easy to find a crowd of gamers that sink this low. So I second this, bloody hell would make this unfinished piece of shit (it is alright with custom mods/maps) so much more enjoyable. |

Now that you mention it, I still do have a lot of complaints for this game... Strangely enough, I kinda miss the bloodless stumps that UT2004's ragdolls have when only a part of the body gets blown to bits. Maybe it's got something to do with that new "feign death" shenanigans (which DO NOT WORK on me, btw, since I love blowing up corpses)... Also, I was about suggest to RS to add weapon icons to their Thor and Pitbull, only to find out that it's not that they can't, but wouldn't since it would skrew up with UT3's oh so flawless HUD. AND TAB/F10 IS NOT THE PLACE FOR THE CONSOLE BAR (which is also ridiculous, btw)! IT'S TILDE!!! |

UT3 was made for a console, ported to PC. I, and probably many other gamers that have an IQ above sea level, lost all respect for Epic Games with this release. DK wrote: IT'S TILDE!!!

But of course...! It was like a mother to me, teaching me how to love gore and shooting people behind their backs... and messing with configs on the console... Now we have these newfangled thingamabobs like secondary fire for every weapon (not that I'm complaining, more ways to frag is always a plus in my book...), and double-click dashes and jumps, and ragdolls... |

Tab button has always been used in UT, DK, but i agree that tilde should be the the console key, not fricking F10. Also, gore is meh, I don't see why everyone is complaining about it, at least it's better than UT2004's basketball gibs. |

Sadly, I must agree with the rants on UT3...even more sadly, the only reason I have UT3, is to admire and look at the devs stuff... The gore additions would be nice... |

And one last complaint... but this one just really ticks me off. It's so hard to add 3rd party support (maps, models, mods, etc) for it. It's got at least 2 CookedPC folders, and I dunno which file to put into which folder. The only ones that I got to work from the get go were RS's weapons and models. I'm so disappointed at this game... it's like 2003 all over again. |

I don't know why they had to change the way we install mods/maps/etc. it work great in Ut2004, why in UT3 it wouldn't work? the UI sucks too. The gore at least is better than Ut2004 gibs. sadly it don't have much blood. Bloody Hell here would be awesome. |

The one in My Documents. It seemed pretty obvious to me from the start. |

Bloody Hell.. If we have our way, our gory ideas will be made in time. Looing at the MSU, there is no gore category, so we'd have to put it up with something else like a whole mod. We want it badly as well. We will try and do it sometime, just don't expect it next week! 
on UT3, i'd have to agree on many points.. it just ain't the best game, nice engine tho 
And that f**king f10 console key sucks.. we hates it! |

Hey Runestorm members wus up? Ight congrats on da new prject u got goin for UT3 im pretty f**kin excited to see u guys havin sumtin in da works!!! But i jus gotta kno? Will der eva b a Ballistics Weapons port over to UT3? I mean i can't even play ut 2k4 witout turnin on Ballistics Loadout and Ballistics Sprint muts!!! Im really Fiendin for some BW Muts here so i jus had to ask... That tactical shotty with its melee attack and all da beautiful pistols not to mention... well u get da idea i loved ur muts and add ons will dey make it to ut3?

well, there is no BW planned for UT3. We're working on "The Crucible", which may feature certain things from BW. If you havn't already gotten them, the Pitbull and Thor are available for UT3

I've never had a problem with the gore in UT3. There are settings that are on by default to reduce the gore. Look for Brad G's Tweaker. You can make these changes amongst other very nice adjustments. Did you say gore?

actually I found BW because I was searching for a gore mutator that had blood on screen, like UT3(something that I thought was so cool) and then downloaded BW. I wasn't actually very interested in the weapons, but on the gore, but after some matches with BW I couldn't play with default ut weapons. the same with my friend, when we used to play ut2004 like hell. well, I still play against bots. though UT3 needs RS legendary gibs
