Post subject:  RuneStorm's MSUC Savior Character Pack makes UT3 crash

Hi everybody.

I've been trying over the last couple of days to install and play with the Savior Character Pack, however, it has been without any luck, therefore I would like to hear if there's anyone else who's had the same problem, or if anyone has any idea of how to fix this.

What happens is that, after installation (extracting the zip properly), I launch UT3, I go to the RuneStorm faction, where I find the characters, after selecting one I get to the character customization screen, but upon loading of the character it crashes.

I have the Crucible weapons pack installed as well, which by the way is mighty fine I might add!, Titan Pack, CBP3 and Patch 5 (UT3 v. 2.1)

I hope that someone will be able to solve this problem for me, as I am really looking forward to try these models, they look freakishly awesome!

Before you go over the standard questions let me inform you that I have made sure they were extracted correctly, I've tried with several of installs and even reinstalled UT3 a couple of times

OK, i have no idea.. I don't know of anyone else that has this problem. I have 2.1 as well and it loads fine..

Could you send your log file, that should tell us whats happening..

Post subject:  RuneStorm's MSUC Savior Character Pack makes UT3 crash

I opened up UT3 again after looking through this file and after some wait it unfroze and I was able to play, it seemed as if (being a rather big character pack) that UT had to calculate shaders for it, however, that would be my theory

Epic kindly provides the shader cache for their own content, but mods need to calculate themselves :)
