Post subject:  Crucible Weapons cause UT3 to freeze

As stated above... if I start a game with Crucible Weapons on, it freezes on the loading screen. The Crucible models and ballistic weapons also did this. I have other mods installed properly, so that's not the problem. Other people seem to have had similar problems that simply solved themselves, but I've tried a few times and no such luck so far. My log file is attached.

These weapons look great so hopefully someone can lend me a hand. Thanks.

Um... do you have UT3 patched up to version 2.1? Other than that, I'm not sure what to tell you.

Yeah, I do. Did my log file not show up as an attachment? It now freezes while it says "Loading..." before it even gets to the real loading screen after I launch a game.

Oh, I got it to work by just waiting like 5 minutes on the loading screen. Weird.

These are great though and are a great compliment to the Warhammer player models someone made.

Yaeh, loading time will initially be very long as it caches all the data. Future load times should be a lot quicker, I think.

We get this complaint alot.. The game has to cache and compile the shaders. All you have to do is to wait it out for a few minutes.

The same thing happens with the Savior.. :)

Maybe stick something about that being nothing to worry about in the ReadMe file; I just assumed it was broken. Task Manager even said it was Not Responding while it was stuck there.

Agree, wait for a few minutes, after that it will load just like any other map 8-12 sec :)
