Oh I think they are, now I wonder myself if a cover system would fit their game
I mean their game looks like much more fast paced than slow paced.
Because I proposed the idea since it could be very interesting, but now I doubt a bit of it.
That's a bit why I wanted some feedback about my questions.

I think a good idea for the Crucible is to make it really religiously controversial. Have a level where you have to kill God or something. Then, when released commercially, it will be refused classification at least by the BBFC in the UK and the OFLC in Australia and sales will skyrocket!

I got something rather simple to put up for consideration. I find myself driving on the Road Rage map and find that moving over from lanes is rather difficult at high speeds, esp with the inferno(which is actually my favorite vehicle when fully customized). The jumping jacks on those vehicles kinda reminded me of the movie, "Speed Racer." The much more modern one. I was thinking of allowing the vehicles to be able to flip over objects and the like with those hydraulics and have it controlled using the normal UT dodge controls. For example I double tap right and I flip right landing on the other side of the road, jumping over some obstacle(like a vehicle or those explosive barrels) or something like that. It could be used to flip over vehicles, flip back, or if you have ramming gear on, jump forward aiming your ramming gear at the vehicle ahead...

What about tire spikes to allow the vehicle to scale walls?

Unfortunately, the vehicle steering in UT is very strange.. We tried all sorts of things to get them to steer better, but no such luck :(

As for the other ideas, interesting, but.. RoadRage was never an initial Crucible feature. So it's future in the Crucible is not certain.. It may however make an appearance elsewhere should we decide :)

I was actually kinda talking about that ditch in the center of the road...and ofcourse, the obstacles on it...Being able to flip over on that map might help.

Road Rage did seem to me as Crucible material (but that's just my opinion :D). tbh it is really the setting of things that makes it fit. I liked it anyway.

But this is a serious Game,

and I don't think that flipping vehicles would fit into it,

And using the dodge keys to flip the vehicle here and there is a fair idea, we'd have to think about that... ;)

The main idea is coming from "Speed Racer" the film. For those of you who have seen it, you will know hwat I'm talking about.

[SPOILER]There was a race called the "Casa Cristo" nicknamed, "The Crucible." It was in essence a rally race full of headhunters, cheaters, and everyone loaded up with secret weapons in their car...[/SPOILER]

That was kinda why I thought the idea might fit. From what I read, the Crucible(RuneStorm) is generally a fight for your life. The Crucible in the movie is kinda like that...

I added a game type i thought of,
Guardian (Where you have to Protect a Target, and kill another)


You must take out a target, who will be protected by another assasin , while someone is protecting him and also is an assasin, ....

So everyone has a target to kill and to protect,

But you will not know who is trying to kill you or who is protecting you.

what do you think?

I was thinking that with some weapons, your Team colour (because it is configurable) should change the colour of the tracer.

And because the Game is to do with angels and demons (I think??)

Then you could have a Game where you must capture a Cross(or crucible) and do something with it?

i think a nice touch to the crucible would be Dark music i would love to help with the crucible but the only thing i seem to know is how to edit images ::)
also a revolver would definably be a brilliant feature to the crucible also maybe a hidden blade like out of assasins creed and my favourite meele combos like out of mortal combat FINISHERS! theres nothing better than beheading your opponent and looking back and saying THATS A JOB WELL DONE!! ;D

Primary fire: revolver shot
Secondary Fire: 3 shot:This fires three rounds in one click!!

Tertiary Fire: exploding round: this fires the mercy round which is a exploding bullet
Once yove fired it you cant get another!
The explodig round can take out a scorpion vehicle or a well armed person

Cool Idea, But a Triple shot is kinda overkill with a gun with only a 6 Bullet hold.

a 2-burst would be fine. But cool none-the less.
