Hey everyone, I searched for some info to fix this issue, but didn't find anything, so I thought I'll make a thread about it.

So I got this weird bug - some settings, I think only score and bot number, doesn't get saved when the map loads. Basically i can't change neither score nor bot number, because when the map loads it resets to default (default value depends on game type, like for CTF it's 3). I can add aditional bots with console command, but I have no idea how to change thescore number.

Anyone know how to fix this? Most of the time it's no big deal, since most of the default scores for maps are high enough (like 3 for CTF, 50 in DM), but I can't play greed because default score is 3 which means that mach ends in a minute.

thats quite unusual i suggest reinstalloing ut3 because it might be youre ut3 ini thats has been corrupted, do that and tell me if it works ;D

P.S UT3 is very tricky when it comes to bugs ut2004 is very simple but ut3 is VERY hard!!

P.S.S if youre ut3 ini is not damaged then go to C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\My Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\UTGame\SaveData XP

OR C:\Users\USERNAME\My Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\UTgame\SaveData Win 7 and Vista

And Copy your profile Just for safe keeping ;D and rename the first bit to USERNAME.ue3profile

then go onto ut3 but in your username or whatever you typed into the ueprofile and type a random password anything you what and click offline

and it should work :violence-minigun: :violence-ripper: :violence-rapidfire: :violence-shock:

I'm obvoiusly assuming this is The Crucible you are playing, and the latest one with a UI..

I'm pretty sure all the gametypes worked but there may have been issues with UT3's gametypes.. :think:

Setting the values for goalscore and botcount were a troublesome issue, and i'm not sure how well i got it working. :angry-banghead:

Sorry i'm not sure, too much stuff to keep in my head.. I'll look into it's current status. :oops:

Yeah, I'm playing latest Crucible (1.1)

Tried grizzlykiller's method but it didn't work, any other advice? Because I don't want to reintall the game (and it might not fix the issue), because I would need to redownload all patches...
