Hey everyone Just posting some updated info regarding the upcoming "Crucible: UDK Port". Some features are new. Unfortunately, others have been cut from the previous Crucible version. We have now cut the whole "Road Rage" gametype and vehicles from the game. This is on the path to returning the Crucible to it's original plan. However, the rest of the planned changes have not been made yet. These will follow at some point in the future. We've 1 or 2 things on the go at the moment Anyway, we hope to have it available soon Thanks! |

Yeah, hopefully it will be done soon and i will get a break to work on our other projects... As it stands i'm hoping to get the NEW UI done in time, but it's debatable... We also have some other minor issues to take care of, and it needs more network tests.. Once those are done you will be able to have it, in whatever state it may be in...

RoadRage was decent as it was, but not in the context or confines of the Crucible setting. Who knows, perhaps one day something will emerge based around Road Rage |

Make is so that Road Rage resembles more like a car combat sim (like Twisted Metal), but with customizable tanks (or any other heavily-armored combat vehicle). That way, they wouldn't look as campy as road racers and muscle cars (when there's a battle between Heaven and Hell going on and all...). |

But they're already firing automatic weapons, which kinda means it's not impossible that there would be cars. Oh well. Like I said, the other features should be worth its loss. |

It was for the better, best to concentrate on the core of the game and build up a population. Road rage just requires too many players to be any kind of fun and well it just doesn't fit very well... |

And what do you think of the vid I posted, I posted it because I like how the car chases are made and also the driving in first person |

It does look quite good, just requires a fair ammount more work. We'll see what we do with the vehicles, if they are ever even used again. But they don't fit well with The Crucible.. If we ever use them in something, chases like that would be a good idea... |

It depends for what you guys aim for the game, but I hope that the vid gave a good inspiration if you plan to do car chases I know it requires a lot of work, but that's always the bad side of awesomeness ^^ |

RoadRage and the vehicles have a different destiny. Unfotunately, they don't really fit the Crucible and, worse than that, they cost too much to develop in that setting. There's another plan for the vehicles, a place they would work much better... |
