I downloaded the installer for Crucible 1.1 and when I ran it, it said that it could not create a shortcut and I can't run the mod. I tried to follow the instructions but I can't figure out how to do it. Please help me, I really enjoyed v1 and I want to see how 1.1 is. |

Ok, try this: Make a shortcut to UT3. Then edit the command line and add the following at the end: " -mod CxGame" See if that works. I'm not sure why it wouldn't create a shortcut though. Are you running a properly installed UT3? |

The game is installed properly but I got an error: The name C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\unreal tournament 3\binaries\ UT3.exe -mod CxGame specified in the Target box is not valid. Make sure the path and file name are correct. Any help? |

Steam version.. aaah. That might explain why it can't create the shortcut. But try this for the command-line: ".....\Binaries\UT3.exe -mod=..\CxGame" That should do it |

I tried that and I got this message: The name C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\unreal tournament 3\binaries\ UT3.exe -mod=C:\Users\****\Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\ CxGame specified in the Target box is not valid. Make sure the path and file name are correct. |

Are you writing the path exactly like it appears in your post? If so then I can see at least two errors: there is supposed to be a space between Files and (x86), and there should not be a space between \ and UT3.exe. |
