I downloaded the installer for Crucible 1.1 and when I ran it, it said that it could not create a shortcut and I can't run the mod. I tried to follow the instructions but I can't figure out how to do it. Please help me, I really enjoyed v1 and I want to see how 1.1 is.

Ok, try this:

Make a shortcut to UT3. Then edit the command line and add the following at the end: " -mod CxGame"

See if that works. I'm not sure why it wouldn't create a shortcut though. Are you running a properly installed UT3?

The game is installed properly but I got an error: The name C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\unreal tournament 3\binaries\ UT3.exe -mod CxGame specified in the Target box is not valid. Make sure the path and file name are correct.
Any help?

Steam version.. aaah. That might explain why it can't create the shortcut.

But try this for the command-line:

".....\Binaries\UT3.exe -mod=..\CxGame"

That should do it :)

I tried that and I got this message: The name C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\unreal tournament 3\binaries\ UT3.exe -mod=C:\Users\****\Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\ CxGame specified in the Target box is not valid. Make sure the path and file name are correct.

Are you writing the path exactly like it appears in your post? If so then I can see at least two errors: there is supposed to be a space between Files and (x86), and there should not be a space between \ and UT3.exe.
