Er... It looks like it was in Fallout 3 first... did anyone get permission to do either port? RS guys, maybe you can answer that. If not, I could get those files removed or whatnot for you. Looks like the guy that ported it to Fallout 3 is already banned... What really bugs me, at least in the FO3 version is the blatant disregard for balance the porter seemingly had with the Crucible armor, which in my opinion leaves a poor impression on RuneStorms work (simply using others' work for some amateurish, overpowered crap with little thought put into it) |

Uhhh. I don't remember issuing permission to anyone for this.. If you could look into it, that'd be great Xavious |

Well, here is how it gets interesting; the guy that actually took the models from UT3 and converted them for use in Fallout 3 is banned from the Nexus due to copyright infringement, which might make him hard to contact. Then, another guy took that form of the Crucible files (Fallout 3 usable ones) and put them in Fallout New Vegas (which probably required little work on his part). Soooooo.... Who do I talk to? The guy who originally ported them is banned because of things like this exactly, and the other guy is using his work. I'll see if I can figure things out. I could probably ask the staff to remove the FO3 one, and just see from there. |

See if you can get them both banned and both of those files removed. If they're going to illegally port stuff, they should at least do it right.

will do very good but i want to ask if i can edit the textures and make it a little darker, the guy who ported it over must have made a mistake because it glows in the dark when you enter a room i think its a shader problem with the textures if i change the file type to something different it might cure the problem also i downloaded a cape and im going to try make it look well with the outfit i want the cape to have a logo which is on the hood of the sanctifier hood it'll look brilliant. im ace at texture editing, mostly making things not seem out of place after you've modded it. i might actually make some mods and put them onto the fallout nexus but i wont put the saviour one on i migt actually make a team one person models and i texture it and another codes it in fact if anyone wants to make models out of curiousity i'll really appreciate it and i'll include you in the credits i think i might be able to code it using the geck and im sure i could use the fallout animations for a place holder. so if anyone could model anything i'd REALLY appreciate it and i'll add your name to the credits. |

I'd rather you didn't edit anything Crucible related in Fallout. Our stuff isn't supposed to be there in the first place. Just don't distribute anything |

okay, wont do. Im still looking for people who can make me a model of any kind because i'll be able to texture it and other stuff i really dont want to try modelling again i'll fail at it again P.S i wont retexture anything to do with the crucible mod but can i change the code on fallout for it i already kinda recoded it so that i can use it with a helmet and it looks awesome but i'll definatly keep the name, sanctifier armor sounds like a armor made by god! so i'll just edit the weight and damage threshold because the weight's too high and the damage threshold is too high too and i might make it medium armor instead of high so that i dont have to get power armor training every time i play a new game.as for the cape i might actually rename it to Sanctifier Cape since i wont redistribute it im sure the author wont mind if i do that so thats what im aiming to do and since the Geck's messed up now i've got a new update i'll use FNV edit which is practically the same but easier to maneuverer |

Do you have much experience importing models in Fallout? I try and I have, but they usually pick up weird texture properties, like the mag to my .75 BOLT pistol glowing unexplainably. I like to mod FO3 every once in a while, mainly I do script based stuff, like making weapons with swappable ammo (not normally possible in FO3) and a magic system with, as of yet, a rather crude insanity system that takes hits on your sanity if you look at corpses or other macabre meshes, if you're in combat, more so if you're in combat with some of the more scary looking critters, and even more so if the enemy is higher level than you. Drug addictions and stuff all detract from sanity, losing health, and being in doors as well (though the Indoors sanity hit is not how I want it to be, I plan for it to be a claustrophobic type thing going on, but I haven't any way to detect player's light level at the moment). |

I dont have any experience but im sure the geck can port it over you just port them over and add the animations from the original fallout i have already made a unique gun using tutorials its called the goldfinger and i want to make it have a goldish texture but then it updated the game and the geck messed up its basically a 44. magnum with a very high damage of 85 and a damage per second of 125 P.S goldfinger is a another phrase altogether

"Port" -ing isn't some one step procedure. It involves exporting and importing through several programs and making adjustments and configuring things each step of the way to make sure it jives with the game to port it into. I dunno about NV GECK, but there isn't any way to directly get a file as a usable .NIF from FO3 GECK, you need to use NifSkope to import a file, but its a really long winded process to ensure that it will work properly and have the different parts move with the animations. The animations... ugh... Those suck. You have to select the proper ones from a drop down list (and there isn't a way to preview them in FO3 GECK) and figure out what animation doesn't look quite as horrible as the rest. I hate .nif files! |
