Still need to work on the scope.

Idono, that scope is looking a little too human for a alien sniper rifle.
I suggest the older rectangular scope... or maybe a smoothed triangular scope.(that one just sounds interesting)

I like the first one better, it looks a lot more sturdy.

I say try a hybrid, the thickness of the first with the streamlined look of the second, unless you want this to be more of a Good Ol' gun.

Post subject:  Re: Glosmostinex models

I personally prefer the first, but the problem is that the second is more comfortable to put a hand.
Yeah, I will attempt to do an Hybrid.

Why would you put a hand in there?

I don't see ANY possible way you could fit your index finger into the trigger guard... And... the clip is like for 9mm bullets. @_@

However, using Blender makes it a lot better to me. I can't figure it out,. so I give bonus points for using soemthing I never figured out (or even care anymore to attempt, tis too shitty a program for me to even want to use).

Dude... don't be telling me the program is shitty... if it was, there would be no community for it, and since this is a community made program, that would mean updates for it would stop being made, tools for it would stop being made... neither of those things have happened.

I could give you a very long list of how Blender is not shitty, but I don't feel like typing it out...

The program isn't the problem, my friend...

You're saying about the Sniper rifle, correct? well, I changed the Magazine and the trigger...

I think I can change the barrel,it looks too large...
And blender isn't a capitalistic program like Maya or 3DsMax!

Nice work here. :) Good to see some new things happening. :} Why does the scope look so strange without texture? I have started in skinning my model. I don't like skinning. :banghead:

No, quite sure it's the program. I'm trying to learn a few other modeller programs instead. Ones that actually have bit better time with learning them easier. AKA, ones that friends of mine use often and can teach me easily. Oh, and I finally figured that actually Blender doesn't even run very well with my computer. If anything, it runs slowest. >_> Yet again, I need to be looking for a modeller that lets my computer run animations without me needing to shut down half of windows...

In short, if it ain't runnin' right on my compy, it sucks. So.... that automatically throws a lot of things into that bin. Tis what ya get for trying free stuff, it's based towards how certain people like programs, and obviously it doesn't suit what I like. Now if you can excuse me, I'm heading over to continue tuning a Border MR2 for a specific series in FM2. It keeps oversteering on certain corners and yet.... understeer in others. Ugh... looks like another day's worth of tuning again...

Post subject:  Re: Glosmostinex models

Well honestly I think I'ma stop trying to do modelling or mapping anymore. It's just too much of a hassle with all the BS of that crap. That and I'm better off learning more about how to properly do some other things.... like coding. If anything, I might even leave modding alone (other than my minor modding like BWv21realistic). I think it's time to move on towards something I have a better time with, and am willing to spend hours doing alone.

I've already fixed oversteer problems with my Border MR2 just by increasing my knowledge of the powerband of that MR2. The wonders of drifting... You can learn so much about how a car will control itself sideways. Anyways, I'ma leave out this topic and stick to my new RS topic I did for that stuff. It's just logging some stuff I'm doing with the car and such, but it really helps me express what is wrong, and then addressing the problems as they come along.

The sniper looks too smooth and the scope appears to lack some detail but other than that its good :good:
