Attachment: Blosch.PNG a super bizarre Krao head. it can work kinda like the bio rifle, but it is a Krao head that has biological glands still working. it could be like a heavy weapon, capable to put bio traps everywhere. besides that this thing is ugly enough to kill someone. secondary is a bite. but it infects the victim with a virus that drain health and can kill if the victim don't get a medikit after the bite. the screen will show some green liquid to show that you're infected(don't worry, this isn't L4D infection:P). |

Nice model and nice weapon idea, a living weapons never would have thought of that. P.S. Glosmostinex wrote: So here are a model I did: Nice Inglish

ahhahaah, sorry for the typo. actually it's because I was going to post more models, but decided to show the Krao head only. so I modified only half of the sentence and it became a total mess. (oh god, it's not kryon, It' Krao )Glosmostinex: never write threads 2 am! ![]() I made it in Blender, and was quite fast. actually, I placed a Cylinder, used the fractal button, and subsurfaced it. after it, I manually changed some faces, and made the material. actually, the Benelli shotgun modelling was more difficult than this. |

Wow! Thats really nifty! Are those metal bits on the back, too? I think I like the look of this. |

Yes, those are thigs that do shocks in the poor animal so that he can use the glands. Description: "While in a mission in one of the skrith bases, a UTC scout noticed that Kraos expelled a strange slimy substance that was nocive to Skrith, while being non-lethal to a human. a group of scientists, Xenobiologists, and biochemistry professors constated that Kraos aren't a carbon-based lifeform, but it is formed by Nitrogen-Phosphorus atoms. the substance was designed to kill NP-based lifeforms, since carbon-based where inexistant in the home planet of the kraos.the substance is nocive to both NP-based and Silicon based lifeforms(which the skrith are). the substance is highly reactive to silicon, causing severe pain, and possible death. another fact discovered later by scientists is that Kraos could survive without a body, since almost all organs are located in the head of the animal. it proved useful, and UTC secret weapons department (UTC SWD) armed soldiers with a special dart that could put a Krao to sleep/hibernate, so that they could bring some animals to UTC headquarters. In the mouth of the animal, there is a Gland that creates that slime, and was activated by electric pulses emmited by their unique heart. however, the Heart was located in the chest. it would be much difficult to a soldier use such heavy device, and the possible risk that Kraos wake up and attack the user with their powerful claws. to bypass this, Scientists developed a functional electroshock device that makes the animal live, even decapitated. care should be taken while using such biological weapon. while the slime is harmless to humans, Krao mouth is full of Bacteries and viruses, some of them lethal. UTC actually used it to its advantage, so that users could use the Krao bite as a weapon too. One of the organisms located in the Kraos mouth is the Kraophagus auxiliarii, which perform a mutualism act to the krao individual: It aids by cleaning Kraos respiratory system and mouth Occasionally, while the Krao helps those multicellular orgainsms by liberating Nitrogen dioxide, which those tiny creatures uses as energy. Kraos are immune to any nocive effect, due to evolution, although most NP-based lifeforms are affected by an acid that the kraophagus drops from it's digestive system. the effect is worse in Silicon-based lifeforms because it can corrode the body of the organism. It is also lethal in Carbon-based lifeforms. The first prototype was released and was feared by all Skriths. but, since the development and use of the weapon was too late, in the end of the 2nd skrith war, the weapon didn't saw much use in the war. furthermore, it was too dangerous to be used in large numbers, limiting it's effectness. the user of the weapon can configure to give more shocks to the animal, resulting in more slime substances being created. however, the user should be wary that excessive eletric shocks can result in a reactive lethal explosion, potentially killing the user and destroying the weapon.(and leaving a bloody mess.bleergh) advanced prototypes now have the ability to dominate the animal nervous system, allowing the user to completely control the animal, allowing the user to command the animal to, for example, bite something. UTC originally planned to take advantage of this, and develop fully brainwashed and controllable Krao minions, however the war ended and it wasn't necessary at the moment. While the Slime is harmless to humans, the bite and the Kraophagus organism is lethal to a human. Unfortunatelly, a group of Outworld rebels managed to invade a UTC weapons base and sucessfully develop a slime dangerous to humans." and here is another render of our friend Krao: (unfortunatelly, the PNG was too big, so I had to use .JPG) Attachment: auau.JPG (Greenpeace will hate me for decapitating animals) |

I like the background to it, makes quite a bit of sense and the extra details are nice. A bit long though, but still good. |

The first render of the gun made it look like it had a smooth end on the mouth tip, but the second render shows a bit of... jaggy-ness. Lovely history though! That's pretty darn nice, and actually sounds quite plausible in the idea of an alien type war. |

the jaggy-ness in the second render is because I don't know how to do a smooth transition between materials in Blender :/ |

Nah, I'm talking about the actual model, not textures. The texture issue can be resolved with a bit of time. I like how it has something for the hand to fit in though! |

ah, that's because i didn't used subsurf in that one. i thought that it was going have lots of faces, something difficult to texture! |
