My work ethic is so variable. I can't remember how many hours I've actually spent on this since I resolved to begin the project, but not that many.

Linking the tracks to the actual hull was a pain, and the M26 for some reason has plenty of parts on the main hull that overlap the boxes on the side. Not looking forward to doing the turret, but I've got smoothing and details to add on the hull yet. Saving the tracks till last, because I need to check to see if I can code something that'll tie the rotation of the wheels to the movement of the M26 without making it a wheeled vehicle.

Edit: Ugh, "normal vector coplanar with face." I pray to whatever deity might be listening that this is being caused by overlapping faces, which I'm fixing now.

I haven't checked polygon count. Usually I keep polygons low, but I want this to be as badass as possible. I'll give a count when I finish. :D

As far as shells go, I'm probably going to model those, and make a chance for the shell to be deflected, dealing reduced damage and with a percentage chance based on the vehicle the Pershing's firing on.

I'm so lazy. Well, it's more that I bought World at War and built a new PC, and wanted to play with that first.

Front lights are missing, as is detail on the hatches at the front diagonals of the turret ring. Then I get to play with rounding on the turret...

Turret needs rear, right side and top detail to be done. Hull just needs track alignment, addition of a few wheels, some rounding and some handles for the hatches to be done.

Looks nice and lethal.

Though the turret seems a bit strange. It seems too flat on the top in comparison to this picture. Is it proportioned correctly?

As far as I can tell. I used a set of schematics, and there's a lot of variation between M26 models. I have about five different sources for pictures and not one M26 is the same. If there is an issue, though, I should find out for sure when I'm modelling the top.

Looks like it could do some damage. :twisted:

You must have had a picture to model off, that kind of thing is next to impossible without some kind of reference.. :think:

Now you just need a skin, maybe someone will help.. :pray:

That model is even better than my TMV Leopard tank..
