I've been working on this particular model for quite some time now. It's kinda become my pride and joy to work with, but it certainly has gone through a vast improvement era after I picked it up again last week. There are certain design elements I did leave off in favor of simply showing what it looked like, but I might add those parts in at a later time. And yeah, very large images coming up... Hehe, if this is going to go into ANY game, I'm definately going to pull the trick developers do with their weapons these days! |

Thanks!  I still am working on bits and pieces of the design stuff I'm wanting to do, but I actually have improved the flash hider and the handguard considerably since making screenshots. The dang handguard has been made 3 times so far! Those pics show the second iteration. I might take another screenshot in the style of the first one to show what I did. |

Why your models aren't yet in any of the BW mods? All these models are awesome! I want to see it in-game!

I'm still working on my skill becoming TONS better before I even try to give any new material to anyone to help with tossing into Kelly's pack. If I'm going to give more than what I possibly might be, I want it to be actual quality work that I'm genuinely proud of (this HK417 might be reaching that status quite quickly). I still gotta do a few things with the model before I try handing it off (mostly some extreme optimizations). I'm thinking of going back and super updating some of my old material and then doing a side-by side pic to show my improvements in skill. |
