Missing a lot, but since you threw in your drawing, I'll show you what I got so far btw, that floating thing will be some kinda chainsaw-style/SAW grip so you can lug it around (it is pretty meaty, but hey, it's a laser cannon!  )I think it's pretty sweet so far, but i'm not sure if i'll be giving it the whole texture/animate treatment unless one of you devoted BW fans wants to take the reigns when i'm done modeling it

I see that your modeling skills are much greater than mine. Yeah since the weapon isn't finished I see the style of the weapon though You want to make it a sort of minigun like weapon in therms of handling It looks pretty good but I don't know how it will end up but I think I'm seeing where the barrel will be placed and it can be great at the end And the second one sounds to have a plug for battery I think but I'm not sure |

lol I worked a lot on the FLASH, but I did pretty much the same as you, learning, experimenting though, yeah I'm a beginner to it and I needed a lot of effort to learn the basicsWhy splitting ? this is pretty much a discussion zone, no? if it was on the mods sections I will understand, but here ... Ok it's going a bit off topic though, but as long as there is no trouble and bad talking, I think some chit chat isn't a bad thing for this forum, no ? |

I think the iron sights should be added later, if you are holding it like a chainsaw they wouldn't be useful in this kind of configuration |

Or.... i can put a grip on the side so that the sights can be at eye level, eh? and how bout them spikes for battering opponents heads in, yea or nay? (it looks like it adds a lot of faces) |

it can be but it will loose of its chainsaw aspect. but it might work or trying to put the sights elesewhere if that's possible BTW I drew weapons of with a chainsaw / minigun type of holding and I didn't made sights, for them, but if you want sights you can try something at the level of the top handle if you want to keep it. BTW I like the melee idea but I'm thinking about something for your weapon, at least this gave me an idea But for the shields they should be somewhat usable at melee I mean if there is a barrel on the front the shields won't be useful and you might probably add the melee part weapon at the barrel |

Instead of old fashioned iron sights, why not bring it up a couple centuries in technology and make a small camera near the barrel, and a flip out mini monitor that you use instead of iron sights? It would allow you to fire from the hip while being able to look through the monitor to maintain accurate firing. Probably wouldn't be hard to code it in so it actually displays from the camera. |

Give it a try ^^ I don't know what it is but it can be great, you you can try to make a super high tech thingy I mean the weapon will be hip fire but you have a binoculars to aim with Wow XAV you beat me to it |

Very cool looking gun! That little bumpy thing to the top of the new screen looks like a cool hi-tech hologram emitter. I can imagine this gun having a cool integrated camera as well as a holo-screen with things like ammo and heat.

Thanks for all the kind words guys all this time away gave me a rather unique solution the the whole handling problem . instead of a spade grip, or a chainsaw type grip, how about I put a buttpad where the spade grip would go and put a pistol grip a bit forward on the right side of the gun (suck to be a lefty) I'd also put a vertical type grip on the left side (shown in the pic)
