i'll post more pics later.

one of my friends is going to make a few maps with Dim3, i guess i'll test my stuff there =)

all i can say is i want lots of guns and violence to happen in my project.
3 teams.......
several weapons (melee/ fire arms)
enough player models to choose from for each team
player class menu
enhanced gore/blood (bloody hell?)
fluent movment (physics, weapon recoil, ect)

yes all that stuff (^) is very VERY far away and it will probably require a "real" game engine but its my dream mk?

i'll post stuff when cool/important stuff

*UPDATE- new gun model*

i started making a gun from scratch and came up with a new assualt rifle, i dont have a name for it.....
there is a second function of the weapon, a chunk of the front can be removed to put in another type of ammo (there will be another barrel below the main one).

what do you guys think so far...?

yeah progress is slow, i dont mind. im only 15, i have all the time in the world........... (so dedictation to a real mod project will be hard to get out of me !shy

well any ways i'm gonna use Doom3 or Quake4 (yeah easy start for a 15 year old

Well, I have a little experience coding Doom3, but nothing very impressive, just messing around with the properties of the players, weapons and pickups, and that was simple enough, although I don't remember how I did it...

I think the best way to start is just getting the weapons in the game. It'll be much more inspiring seeing your models and using them than getting some coding done for the game type, methinks.

Plus it'll get you a bit more knowledge into coding on Doom3, preparing you some for coding the gametype.

check pics....... (btw, when i get back from high school im going to replace some of the glock pics with better ones =] )

Well, you are buying a game that is powered by an engine made by iD Software, you do the simple math if it is moddable or not.

And I think you should start with the SP of these games.
