$100(american..) says it looks better than UT3, i'll give the demo a try.

Okay, a quick no BS summary of the Crysis demo...

Oh MY EFFING GOD THIS GAME IS INSANE! It ROCKS!

And it runs damn smooth with 4 x AA and everything on High (no DX10 effects, i run XP)

i ran it with almost every thing on high!

The shaders were acting up so i had to turn them off or on low er something. I should update my drivers.....

Any ways, wow im impressed. Its like Far Cry except on speed and plated with platinum. GREAT GAME!

btw i downloaded it from the first link U.P gave and im pretty sure it was the filefront one. It installed fine, i guess it got corrupted as you people downloaded it or something....

What are your specs? This game isn't going to run nearly as well on an X1400, I believe.

EDIT: As expected, less than 30 FPS at times in 800x600 at lowest settings. Also looks like shit. Looks like I'll be passing this one up for another year or so, when I can possibly get a decent gaming rig.

Good game. Excellent gameplay. but ut3 looks better on my rig.

I like it. It is what Ghost GRAW should have been. In case you're wondering how you'd perform, here's what I got for comparison.

It feels a little sluggish, but still quite playable and enjoyable with this system at medium details and 1024x768 res.

4 gigs DDR2 240 pin ram
Win XP 64-bit

Your pc is about the same as mine except I have Vista and an ATI x1600....and I can play Bf2 on high without to much lag.

Just tried it on hard, and did it real stealthy like, regular Sam Fisher. Darts are fun if you really want to be stealthy. I just can't wait for the precision scope, so i can do some well needed sniping.

i did delta to start and did that real stealthy like you. and then started again and went rampage! I like jeeps

All these great games coming out! Ut3, stalker clear sky, Crysis! I think my favourite will be stalker though. absolutely loved the last one even with all its bugs.

Oh yeah did anyone ellse notice the guy peeing on the side of the road! I was about to dart him from the cliff above and suddenly he pulls down his zip. really funny.

Crysis on Low graphics=Doom 3 on Ultra High. Just got done playing it and it was great, kinda a steep learning curve for me though with all the buttons and stuff but great nonetheless.

i got the shaders workin.... but the higher i turn then up --> more lag.

Delta setting is pretty tough, for me at least, cause your relying on your iron sights or laser sights (pistols) 100% of the time for any shots, still, head shots are still the most effective for downing an enemy.

Its pretty cool. Certainly more exciting than base ut3. I jacked the physics up to high, and suddenly the sheds were cracking open when explosions went off in them. Its pretty cool to run up and grab a guy and toss him. Haven't been able to throw people through walls, must require that physics card for the very high physics setting.

Almost everything is breakable, and leaves move when shot or moved through.

After spending all of 2007 addicted to stalker I am getting pretty good at this kinda game now. headshots seem to come naturally. even on UT
even on delta I rarely loose 60 ammo for the AS rifle. I use the reflex sights always, darts alot and silencer always. It is such a good game! can't wait for the whole thing.

I think you need Maximum Strength on to throw someone through a wall, and by wall, i hope you don't mean a brick wall.

You can chop down trees with your gun!!!! Oh, and ever thrown someone straight up with maximum strength activated? Flyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy - Falllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll - THUD!
