Amazingly fun and adaptive gameplay, its like how Star Wars Empire at War should of been.

Does everyone only care about pure graphics now a days? Yes graphics are good but gameplay, the gameplay in Sins rocks.

I could not enjoy gameplay fully, because demo ended during the skirmish.
I only managed to colonise 5 planets and destroy few pirate capital ships.

Yeah, still the demo gives you a understanding of what Sins is about and all the options for the AI, i'm loving it.

Set 2 as hard fortifiers and a third as the normal rusher and it turned out to be fun when i crashed through everyones defenses with 5 Kol Battleships.

The game sounds like lots of fun. I heard that there are no real limits set to how big the game world is except the computer itself.

Exactly and even then its not that demanding, i'm sure a dual core 1 gig computer can run it on high with a 6800 easily. It is A LOT of fun, i'm finding great just massing battleships and then fallowing retreating armies (since fighting 4 battleships is a tough battle) to their home planet and laying waste to everything.

Yeah. I've got Sins. I love it. Its one part Homeworld, one part Master of Orion, and one part GalCiv 2. They just announced an expansion pack is being worked on.

In addition to EvilJedi lending his models and directing the Star Wars mods for Sins, there is also a BattleFleet Gothic mod making some progress, as well as a Stargate mod. There have been calls for Freespace and Wing Commander but I don't know how far along they are.

This one is going to be around a long time. We're early in the game life, but the engine is modder friendly, as shown by EvilJedi dropping star wars models into the game during the beta with no tools. Keep an eye on it.

And yes, the game does scale up much bigger than the demo. There IS a unit cap based on fleet logistics, but it is sufficiently high you'll have 200+ fleets, and unit limits are easily modded. Map size has no hard coded limit, and the only limitation is your computer choking because it is running out of memory. One guy is working on putting the entire Star Wars galaxy into a map. Given Sins is designed to run on even low end recent systems, running out of memory takes some effort. Finally, there IS Z axis movement, but there isn't that much point to it between the planetary jump node system and the AI not seeming to know how to use Z axis much. its one of the few quibbles I have with the game. It is certainly a nice game though - if you are a twitch gamer or don't care for 4x games, this is not for you. That being said, for a 4xRTS there is less 'spreadsheet surfing' than any other 4x I've played.

I'm just enjoying the demo so much, pretty cool to know that map size and fleet size is easily modded, i would so make larger fleet pop limits. I find the game is sort of a Rise of Nations in space.

i tried it it's pretty cool b/c its tactics and strategy and thats what im best at
although the demo ran out pretty fast

Well its supposed to scale really well (not that demanding from what I heard).
