Looking at that mech lists reminds me of te infantry being there... Has anyone actually seriously tried the infantry? I never got the guts up to try them out seriously, was kinda wondering how fun it'd be in a infantry only match.

With a Longinus (I think, which was the heaviest of the Inner Sphere exos?) I can usually kill an assault mech within 3 lives if I'm fighting by myself.

two words...HOLY SHIT. iv been waiting years for another mechwarrior game to come out and man am i exited. been a huge since i was little. i remember playing mechwarrior 2 when i was like 5 or 6.

Not a lot of people take battle armor or infantry too seriously right now. They'll be a bit better after the MP4 release, as they'll be much harder to pick up on radar and have the battle armor will have better jet capability.

Against bots, I can usually solo an assault with a suit of battle armor, as long as they aren't level 9 bots with their retarded perfect accuraccy. Heavy missiles + cockpit shots FTW.

Anyhow, battle armor and infantry are really too slow to be that useful in the no-respawn matches I prefer. Shrug.

i took down an atlas in an elemental suit in 1 life, talk about luck.Suicidal jump jetting and zig zag running. i stayed on his heals quite a bit too.
