DeathMatch and CTF in UT3 Video

Its great to finally see some Deathmatch videos.

Love the (streams of) link gun primary and shard cannon projectiles, btw, looks really fast & furious. Also there seem to be projectile flyby effects and such, which is always nice. Good atmosphere, too, much better than in 2K3/4.

Methinks I'll need a small upgrade before I can play UT3 in it's full beauty. But damn does it look pretty.

Me thinks they used the Rocket too much and not enough of the other weapons! I kinda don't like the new Flak Cannon though... too... Grenade Launcher looking.

Ok, I just watched it and overall I can't say wow about anything except the purdy graphics.

The stinger was disappointing, whatever happened to the tarydium shards? They seem to prefer silly blue projectiles rather than sharp blue crystals.

That's why we are having BW2k7 to wow us Bjossi!

But if they would made a second generation of the stinger in it's original concept with updated quality, it would be b-a-d-a-s-s.

Of course the video is low quality, it is definitely affecting the experience of watching. But I'm pretty sure the stinger fired blue energy balls.

Well they still have time to fix that, + thats what mutators are for.

They ain't gonna fix that, we are talking about Epic, not RS.

And if I need a mutator to make the stinger look & function correctly, then it's not a good thing.

The new gameplay and graphics both look top-notch. I can't wait for this game!

I think the Stinger looks fine, the bolts look about like I'd expect radioactive crystal shards to look. My major complaint was with the major lack of Biorifle usage in there.

Maybe they are just using placeholder sounds, but they need to understand that powerful audio cards and speaker systems are getting cheaper and cheaper; lame sounds is gonna hurt them.

Except for Dell, who are asses and only have intergrated 7.1 audio for there soundcards.

Integrated cards can produce good audio, but the problem with them is that they use the processor, so you'll get heavy performance impacts during gaming.

Nothing Great There I knew Epic Would Let me down.

Shrug. It looks good, and it looks pretty consistent with UT. Which is all I want anyways. More and improved UT. It certainly can't be worse than UT2k4, and they've been trying to recreate the feel of UT1, which was pretty dang good, so I'll probably be happy with UT3.

Kinda the same principle as C&C3. they aren't doing anything innovative with the game, but they're keeping the feel of the originals, which I really liked, so I'm probably going to like it too. Maybe even enough to buy it

They shouldn't try to recreate UT99, that game has already been made. I want something new and interesting if they expect me to shell out few dozen bucks to buy it.

Well, yeah. Same here. But I don't really want them to wipe the grid clear. Just build on a formula thats already been prove. And from what I've seen so far, there won't be a lack of new content.

I uploaded it using FF, so i'm sure it will work.
