AM67 - BW wouldn't be the same without this devastating headshot owning high caliber semi auto pistol.
- Its just so much fun to shoot 3 times and have the guy dead.
Flame Thrower - Why you ask? Well for 1 i adore the fact that when u hit the tank, it sends the poor fellow to his doom, and you'll have a bunch of ppl trying to kill him b4 he explodes... i loved the whole above explosion which dropped bloody mist and gore everywhere... plus fire effects will be AMAZING
- Bodies that have been put onto flames can be covered i burnt marks... look at Sentinels by Mr.Evil, he achieved exactly what i said
- more than just up up and away, maybe it could have multiple versions that just happen, maybe you hit it directly in the back, it could just zoom forward then upon hitting something or just after a bit it would explode, another where it would spiral up or around and explode, it just upon being shot EXPLODES! (i think this would be the best), backwards rolling exploding anyone? I'm pretty sure you could also use the physics. Maybe after being hit the tank could just fall off and then explode within a set time limit anywhere between say 2 to 8 seconds, so its never predictable
G5 - Don't make its explosion so huge that you don't even get to see the blood mist and the body being ripped apart
- Better control over the laser sight, it was amazing and super deadly when the laser sight was added, then it got uber nerfed and i hated that (damn weapon sway and movement chaos).
- If its a rocket propelled grenade laucnher, it should be a little more techy since it has a laser guided system to it.
BX5 Landmine - They may be illegal now, but i just love to leave them for m enemies who are hell-bent on filling my ass with bullets and see/ hear that oh so satisfying sound of an explosion... make sure it jumps... god its so funny to watch it jump-splode... cutting the poor fool in half in bloody mist and gore, or just exploding him totally... with Kill Slow Time this will become a beautiful moment.
alternative shotgun some kind of additional shotgun that shoots a slug instead of a explode pellet thingy. Reasoning, well, just so as we'd have a ranged shotgun and a regular shotgun.
Semi auto Sniper a light but fast sniper rifle to dispatch/ weaken foes easily.
Grenade types toxic grenade would be cool, but maybe add a feature that causes the gas toxin to explode if a fire hits it or an explosion happens in its range... causing an even more MASSIVE explosion. would add new strategies
-Less clunky grenade throwing system... it was great in BW2.1, but its still a clucky system.

Loadout and Evolution Loadout (whatever its called) Cause these two mutators rocked so hard... they are awesome.. having everyone start with the same weapon and advance by kills to better weapons (obviously, the better killers get better weapons but whatever) and a mut that gave you 5 weapons to choose from... made the game so much fun.


Damage system based off of body parts - This was in BW and i hope it continues to be, because then it promotes shooting at higher damager giving targets like the face or chest.

Weapons from the 'First War', like skrith and cryon weapons, including portable cannons ("Tycharion" Skrith Ion-fusion cannon , UTC Shaped-Plasma Cannon )
- reason behind the cannons? Because i wanna see some crazy portable cannons that wreck havoc and destruction upon everyone, no one would survive... amazing ideas, massive explosions... just a really powerful weapon that would blow your opponeant up so much, the room would be painted entirely in RED!
- Reason for a need of 'first war' weapons? Because all we have from the first war is the Skrith rifle and pistol. All the UTC weapons were abandoned (for good reason) and its all bullets now, but I REALLY would love to see what was used in the first war... like i'm sure the Skrith had energy cannons or something that TOSSED huge amounts of energy (like the stuff found in the skrith rifle) into the UTC lines.

Reason for more non-sponsored assault rifle? Cause the M50 dominates and i'm sure that the AK design would have trancended into the future... its been in use for more than half a century (since 1947) and i think its design would continue to be used from rebels and other factions for its cheap and reliability. Even if their come some Assault rifles that don't differ much besides some might have a scope or a larger ammo box and no gl... i would be perfectly happy to see that. Anything to add variety. RS have shown themselves amazing conceptualizers... and i would love to see more ARs by them

Simple Weapons Make a bunch of easily modelled and created weapons which look amazing and stuff, but still aren't as insane as the ones we have right now... i dunno, do what you guys wanted to do when you considered the simple weapons pack

A digusting gore system... ya i'm a sick bastard... but it was so amazing and what kept me loving BW, i know we all want it, and i want it badly. gibbable bodies (its coded in... GoW has it, UT3 partial has it), bloody mist from grenades, blood sprays, decapitation system while alive (Similar to new SoF game, but not for when if u shoot the guys arm off he's ♥♥♥♥♥) so that enough hits to a certain area would cause it to fall off or something... crap i can't even think of that SB and DC will easily think of. Oh and lots of blood mist... gotta love the blood mist.
- body decals from bullets and blood stain decals (like in CSS)
- Bringing back the semi-dismemberment of UT2k4, cause now in UT3 its either blow up the guy or he just falls. I wanna see arms off, legs flying bodies that when shot (after death) spill blood (GoW like) and cause the body to gib. I'm sure this is all possible in UT3, with the new bone structure and reactive bodies to bullets (they will act like a rocket to a corpse explodes but i'm sure some hard coded code could be found to allow semi-body gibbing both during death and after death
- Bodies leak blood (like in Bw2.0's blood updates that allowed that stuff from missing legs or arms to pour blood)
- We love gore, you love gore... it made BW so enjoyable... it made you WANT to get the weapons that explode, it made you want to blast the tank of the flamethrower to see the poor fellow fly up and explode and rain gore all over.. its those bloody moments i longed for in BW... which i still long for in UT3 (it isn't gory enough for me).

MORE exploding weapons We have like 1 sploding grenade, a G5 and a M50 with a grenade launcher and an exploding gas tank on the ( i don't consider the sponsored stuff) flamethrower... those are cool (the exploding tank on the flamethrower is awesome... but i hope for more things that go boom.

Upgrading? Discussed vigorously between me a Bjossi at one point in the last few years. It would be an awesome system to have.


Fix weapons chaos, sway and recoil. It was so horrible at times. Get hit once and your aim is totally borked... running at a target would many times reveal that you just hit everywhere cept that guy. I understand its needed, but there is just so much of it and theres not enough predictability on whether your bullet will go where your cross hair is or not.
- It be best that weapon sway is TAKEN out and chaos is reduced so as it isn't as brutal as it is in 2.1. as well recoil shouldn't be so insane that after one shot your aim is totally borked. I understand after 3 to 7 shots it should start to go off, but not after 1!

Sick gamemodes and mutators options. Outlandish options for offline that would never be accepted by the competitive and balance loving (speaking of u Redshift and Kab) community (like current NO recoil, choas or sway) (yes i know that BW had that option, but even if you did set it to zero, there would still be some)... outlandish damage system (like beta2 of the SG, that was terribly fun and overpowered but it was amazing).
- Gamemodes that give teams Different loadouts in which they can't use other teams weapons (they'd break?). Like a ripoff of Halo's juggernaut that would give the most powerful weapons to 1 guy... as well as alot of health and armor, and EVERYONE hunts him down (this would be amazing with a portable cannon like Yokes or X's)
- Option to turn off the silly annoying cock weapon and stuff when you switch to your weapon/ pick it up (again another option that would be just to expand playability and fun)


EFFECTS! Oh how i cannot wait to see what visual sex RS will come up with in this new BW... exspecially for all the weapons that explode

Grenade launcher... i'm pretty sure the UTC would still support the idea of a thing that launches grenades after the first War. Everyone in the First World War kind of jumped on that... and the bandwagon was filled in World War 2 by either rifles that propel them or actual grenade launchers.
-Why? Cause it gets a tad boring having to unpin them then toss them... thats why i love the M50 and an instant explosion rocks.
- I've always wanted to witness a scene of a guy running parrel to you or your just standig and he runs past you, you fire your grenade laucnher (M50 or a real GL) near where his back will be/ floor when it hit, and it would cause blood mist, legs and possibly arms flying everywhere and the body is lifted upward then falls forward dead. I always want to see this... i hope its possible.


Iron Sights I just hope it works alot better than it did in BW2.1 and older. Like allow yourself to move, but you have like maybe a quarter or half of your speed reduced? And no insane muzzle flashes that make the iron sights feature useless. Faster engagement into Iron Sights mode, both in and out.

J55 Shard Cannon! Thats right RuneStorm, you thought we had forgotten... but i haven't. I would love to see this... if it acutally is a a cannon that shoots huge shards or some kind of shard flinging Machinegun.

The iron sights should engage about twice as fast, too. And I hope the weapon designs would be more real-life looking (that green shotgun looks very bulky, and too futuristic).

Well it is like a hundred or 200 years from now so of course it'll look futuristic.

I want the D49 revolver in UT3.

I want all my bonus weapons ported & upgraded.

I wondered if that would happen, i mentioned it to SB and he never had a defiant answer.

I'd probably have to responsor them all, which would be expensive as ****. Also they might be too busy with other stuff. But if there's going to be another BW, or BW-ish mod, I'll try to save as many as I can...

I thought BW for ut2k4 was from 100 years or so into the future but the weapons still looks more balanced

I'm pretty sure its during the scond war, whicih is like 150-200 years in the future. Look at the progress in the last 50 years in guns? We still use the M16 from Vietnam (something like it)... i'm pretty sure some high governments would not want to go through whole new advanced guns. (SB, DC can you clarify this?), but i'm sure one or two truly advanced weapons would exist.



I've never been a fan of either of those guns, the minigun is just a powerhouse against bots and the double shottie is best for real close combat, which is doubt is what they wanted.

I have another suggestion. The shotguns in ut3 should have a decent firing rate. The main reason why I dont use shotguns so much in BW ut2k4 is because the shotguns recocks so slow

I only ever use the first shotgun, even then. Bah, the weapons chaos, sway and long recock annoy the hell out of me, withe the double shottie, you like have to be right next to the guy, and not moving in order to get a full hit.

Frankly any upgrade system would be cool by me.

When I play BW for ut2k4 I turn the recoil and inaccuraccy scale to about .20. Then the chaos and recoil is acceptable.

I keep those low as well, that's how I like the gameplay.

I put just a few recoil/chaos. near the minimum. but sometimes I play in a more reallistic setting.

The settings I choose depend heavily on what I'm playing. For example I like Invasion the best with little inaccuracies and no reloading.

I always use the default settings... Allows me to fight godlike bots without getting pwnd.

In Non-reallistic setting bots are a lot difficult in godlike. with reallistic, they aren't as difficult as the non-reallistic.
(At least with me )

sometimes I play with Masterful bots instead. Those bots just dont fight like lifelike humans in a gunfight. They are not very tactical at all. They dont use cover at all, they just run at you, jump around and shoot at you. But I guess that is how they are programmed

So NO ONE has suggestions or concepts for BW3?

Actually I agree with most of what you posted, especially the brutal and sophisticated gore system. As I mentioned before somewhere, Bloody Hell UT3 should also include the Bloodloss mut, live impalement for certain weapons (especially spears and bows), and stuff like physics-enabled intestines that can be shot out of people's stomachs. If people could be made to run around armless, or crawl around legless, that would be better still (but probably too difficult to do in a simple mod; maybe in a TC?).

Also I think Runestorm should 'adopt' and port the Crotch Shot mod from UT99, one of the funniest mods ever imo. The UT2K4 version sucked (partially because it was done by a n00b coder), but now that feign death is back, it could work really well. You could for example castrate people without immediately killing them, making them scream & ragdoll instead for a few secs, followed by severe bleeding and eventually death (if they don't heal themselves).

Volatile ammo pickups, definitely.

A mut that makes skeletons (those you get from Link alt kills) stay longer, and lets them disintegrate into dust instead of the ugly green derez thing.

More stuff as we go along...

What i want is BW Port Over to UT3.
Even if it takes awhile to update the design of the wepons, im willing to wait just for nice BW port over to UT3.

also im sad that BW Classic is Being Discontiued.
BW Classic Was close to the PERFECT UT2 mod Ever!
such as the Hands of player modles need to be fixed, a grenade launcher and finnaly a weapon ammo seperation.

Why carry on with a game that will gather no new fans? These guys are making mods to hopefully carry them further and bring them home a career at making games. Continuing work on a 4 year old game is not gonna do it.

But this is where the community picks up where the RS guys left off.

BW 2004 is not dead, very far from it, really. But thats only if the community works towards keeping BW alive and breathing.
