Same here, Hopefully If I'm right about the direction their taking for this weapon pack its possibly an Un coventional Energy based weapon pack.
Or maybe a complete Unique set of of weapons that doesn't relate to BW with the exception of that gun.

Well, theirs 3 pictures that RS put up on the main page. No official comment has been said of what the gun is, people are just guessing.

I'm pretty sure those 3 pics were meant to be on though. You do know DC and SB love to just hint at stuff. Of course, you're on the inside, and I'm... technically outside, but really not (I've said it before, don't got no UT3, or compy to play no high-end game).

Edit: I'm an idiot... O_O I just reread the post thing in the front page again. Anyways, I'm still saddened by the attempt by the person to try doing this. I'm on the lookout for any links I might come across though. Doubt I'd find any since I'm more likely to only be on specific sites (most aren't UT related).

To people that play UT3: What specs do you have?

I just got this new laptop recently and it has 2.0ghz dual core processor and 2gb of RAM and a graphics card with 512mb of memory... would that handle UT3 somehow?

I do support RS on its evolving to the new gen games, but this game requires a quite a beast of a machine to run it(From what heard) so I'll hang at the back with UT2k4 for now.

The vRAM is more than enough. The question is if the video card itself is, you didn't name the model name.
Plus make sure it is 512 MB dedicated vRAM, many laptops have scams like turbocache or shared memory.

Reactor, I had a laptop that could run UT3, but the main problem is that sometimes it can hang at the loading screen.

I recomend the 640 by whatever resolution that UT3 has, Thats what I used on the laptop, along with low everything. It may look hellva choppy, but at least you can play... Right?


BTW, on the note of the 'weapon', It's a major treat for those who get it. Can't say anything more than that.

I actually have no interest in the leak either, and would LOVE to see the whole issue be dropped into the well that was in the Ring (where the girl comes out of first in the TV), HOWEVER I will say this (And in turn, break the silence.

I am the guy who reported the damn leak in the first place.

Here's how it went down. The one who FIRST leaked it showed it to me, and being the curious person, I DL'ed it. But then, after playing around with it, I came to the realization, I was part of the leak now. OH dang. So I reported him to Cyberax. I have the PM's to prove it. I wished to remain silent, but apparently, my first post in this topic stirred some speculation that I was a part of the leak, and had bad intentions (It seemed like that from Shadow's post). So now, against my better judgment, I am breaking that silence, and possibly getting a topic locked. Apologies in advance. (Especially to you Cyberax, and the mod's at Runestorm)

Hope that clears a few things up.

As shadow said, I found a chance to do something right, and I took it.

I say it'd make an amazing oddball (ala Halo 3)... a meele weapon that once it makes contact with the enemy... explodes! Pretty much killing u and him. Its like a last resort weapon that is only considered if a opportunity comes around to bash someone who is in close proximity to a few other guys. Namely, it'd be like a suicidal ball from hell to inflict a lot of pain.
