i messed around with the settings in the F.E.A.R. demo(and extraction point) and it turns out the shadows were eating up my CPU...... so i had to turn them off. now i can play on high settings with out lag =] i love head shots and the torso explode with the shotty!

games on my buy list.....

- Half Life2(one of the box packs)
- F.E.A.R(and EP)
- Penumbra(maybe... the demo isnt to fun)

Have you found the Penetrator yet? I love pinning the replica soldiers to walls with it.

are you talking about that stake gun, i had no clue the bullets were that big till i looked at the people i shot up lol.

Yeah, the nails are huge. It's especially fun to pin them to walls through their heads. Looks really painful that way, hehe.

For me, the stake gun always hit the poors guys crotch... twas much fun seeing him stuck on the wall, then you go 'punching ghosts' style and smack his face in, so much fun.

Why do you guys call it the stakegun? That gun is in Painkiller, not FEAR.

i remember its like a 14mm gun and it shoots huge metal rods..... so its kinda a stake gun lol, and yes im talking about F.E.A.R. idk about ugly

if you shoot downwards at the clones in F.E.A.R. with the spaz12(at the legs) the guys end up doing backflips and all these crazy death animations

is antiviris any good it has an unbrella for the icon it seems prety good my lil bro and my mom use it im stuck
with sygate fire wall it works tho keeps trogens out and what helps even more is i use mozilla firefox so it doust download crap from a random sight like ie doues btw i need a good antiviris

btw warrock is a fun game not paying for it tho but i get terible frame rate on it campared to ut2k4 i get these
frame rate spikes where my frame rate sudenly goes rely low if somebody starts shooting at me or if a buntch of ganeads go off

thats cuz ut2004's graphics are way outdated trunkmonkey(war rock is probably much for cpu intensive).

well im going to buy an external harddrive first so i probably wont get any games until then, the windows side of my computer only has 32Gb of memory and so far i only have 2.73 left. (game demos.... )

im also buying a desk(hutch) for my computer, right now im using this crap cabnet..... full of..... junk.

i have $250 so if i can get the harddrive and hutch and still have money left over i'll buy HL2 and then F.E.A.R. (maybe Battlefeild 2, i've been playing the demo its pretty good besides how much the damage scale sucks)

Ive been waiting for 2 weeks for Half life 2 because the idiot on ebay sent it to the wrong place And I tried to reason with my mom that I could get it 4 dollars cheaper off Steam and get it now but she didn't listen she had to but off ebay!

That really does. Has the game been used before? Cause if so, your then out of luck, because once a source game like HL2 is registered to a certain STEAM account, i'm very sure you can't make another account and use that same CD key and play the game. The dude better being sending you the account info for his if he has played it before.

i just got two copies of CSS(+ Half Life 2 death match, HL2: Lost coast, Day of Defeat:Source)......

my friend bought two copies of the game, one for each comp in his house. they wouldnt work so he gave me both copies for free. i soon found out he had already installed and registered one on steam(so one is unusable). luckily one of the games actually runs and installed on my mac fine(although it told me my computer was too crappy to run the game, but it was a lie...? it runs great on max settings... lol)

so any ways i cant seem to get online on CSS and DoD..... any help with this? i tried multiple servers that had low ping.... *help*

Well has STEAM updated CSS or DoD:S? I'm guessing by DoD you meant the Source edition.

yea i said DoD:Source in my post some where, how do i know if Steam updated the games...? is there a way to tell it to?

and btw... is there a way to play these games w/o steam? because when i dont have internet i cant use them.....
