yes I have played Company of Heroes and that is the game I will probably never get... TOO MUCH FOUL LANGUAGE in the game.. I have played World in Conflict demo and its pretty good

ever played starcraft or Warcraft 3 uglypants?

Played Starcraft and its alright, i just find it doesn't have much strategy to it other than either rushing the enemy right away, just amazing the most powerful units in the game or overwhelming your opponent, i'd rather play AoE3, Company of Heroes or World in Conflict. And no, i haven't played Warcraft 3, and probably never will.

is warcraft 3 not that good?

I can't see why your upset at it. I too hate those kind of RTS's, which is why i can barely stand Starcraft... only reason why i say barely is because its the only full game i have on my Mac laptop, so it deserves to be mentioned.

I enjoy those RTS's where its tactical and fun (World in Conflict, Rise of Nation, Age of Empires, Company of Heroes) and without the rushing and absence of a good economy and building system (LotR:BfME, SW:EaW,Starcraft (cause its just build as big an army and obliterate or just swarm).

maybe I am just over reacting... I don't know.. i know a guy who has warcraft and he likes it.

Yeah, i know a bunch of people who like it too, but its just not my type of game, where you have RPG elements taped together with an RTS. Just doesn't sound balanced at all.

yeah... Age of Empires III and the expansion packs are that way.. its an RPG and RTS mixture....

Not really, just because the WarChiefs and Explorers (and the Explorers for TAD) all get more HP and attack with new cards and stuff, its the same with all the other units, its more like a thing that just adds diversity. The only RPG element is the whole XP and card tsystem, but thats where it ends.

yeah... im surprised they even put the XP and card system in the game.. must have been a lot of people that demanded for this...

No one demanded it at all, they just thought it would be a cool system to keep things fresh even after a hundred battles, which it does.

I think I'll get The Asian Dynasties for Christmas. Though after i complete my first semester of Cjep (pre-College in Quebec), I'm going to buy my Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts, since i'm really loving the multiplayer and after fighting with and against many Panzer Elite and British teams, i'm now really wanting to try them out. The British are likely to be my kind of team, a defensive (anti-armor nests, Vickers Machine gun nests, 17 & 25 pounder emplacements (they are howitzers) and tanks that can dig in) yet sometimes aggressive player.

i have been reading reviews for COH opposing fronts and i heard its buggy and you will be sorry if you have purchased it... thats what I heard anyway

has anyone played EAW or FOC here? if so, I really need some tips to winning space and land battles as Rebels, Empire, or Tyber Zann's Civilization.... I am familiar with the game but...

Just amass the best units and swarm. Seemed to work for me, plus, flank ALOT.

yeah.. I do agree.. I won a battle in almost 6 minutes.. I got 10 Stormtrooper sqauds, 4 AT ST's, Mara Jade as the hero, and Tie maulers and pretty much won.... it was awesome
