Starcraft Ghost has been "permanently delayed" according to Blizzard, im not sure if that means they cancelled the project or just putting it in stasis. Mind you from my knowledge in Systems Analysis, it probably would have been canceled for ending up over budget and over time.

Nobody even got a demo, some magazines have already declared it vaporware.

Because Blizzard will probably have to answer to Diablo fans after Starcraft 2, we may never see Ghost as by todays standards it will need to be rebuilt from scratch using a new graphics engine.

well then deus ex 3 will have a better chance of being more complex then ss3 now everyone get there lawyers ready. btw i hope they stay true to the first deus ex in deus ex 3

i only hope that Blizzards does not do a Warcraft 3 on StarCraft 1

other than that.. i really don't know.. i'm not a huge game playing nut..

Well for starters, Starcraft 2 will not have hero's or an induvidual unit leveling system

From what I hear, those were the things that screwed up WarCraft 3 although I have not played the game.

My greatest fear are the people who want "World of Starctaft" *shudder* I hope to god they dont give Blizzard any cruel monthly ideas

nobody is looking forward to deus ex 3? common guys give it some hype at least.

this is the same way they treated ss2 when it came out and it died a year later because twits that play first person shooters all there life are never up for something new and don't buy these games like ss2 or deus ex as often as half life.

I'm not optimistic about a sequel, considering how Invisible War turned out. Especially since the main creative directors for the first games apparently will have no hand in this new sequel.

I loved Deus Ex to death, never tried IW and probably never will.

As for SS2, it isn't quite dead yet, trunkmonkey. There is a large fanbase still alive at a website called TTLG. Those letters stand for Through The Looking Glass, which is basically covering old Looking Glass Studios games such as the Thief and System Shock games.

yes but it isn't as popular as other games like..halo uggg . halo is almost as popular as god. and back then they where to busy playing quake 3 , ut99 and half life instead of a complex game like ss2

Quake 3, UT99 and HalfLife are fantastic games. Simplicity or complexity doesn't have complete control over a game's fun factor. Not even close. The reason SS2 never got popular is because it was never well known, it's just a side effect of bad marketing strategy.

Age of Empires 2 was a amazing game as well, same with Company of Heroes or Call of Duty.

But isn't this deviating from the topic?

And now i'm all giddy all over again for the new Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga, Star War + Lego = amazing, and now that it has all 6 episodes, its going to be great going through them (and the prequel episodes have been given a MAJOR overhaul).

And i don't know about Mass Effect, i might pick it up after Christmas.

Sins of a Solar Empire still looks great, sucks that its not out till February but oh well.

Unreal Tournament 3 is just 13 days away, so WOOT! Can't wait for it.

AoE3: Asian dynasties, i've found a whole new enjoyment out of Age of Empires 3, just by setting the starting age to Colonial (for those who haven't played the game, its the second age out of 5)

Call of Duty 4, yeah, seems good, might pick it up for my 360 first, to go through some achievements, or get the PC first enjoy that, then get the 360 version for the achievements... WHY CAN'T I HAVE PC WITH ACHIEVEMENTS?!

Then theirs Crysis on the 13th, God, TOO MANY GAMES! I'll leave that, just like CoD4 and probably Mass Effect till after Christmas.

...... Definetely COD4. It's damn near treason for an FPS fanatic to say "IT SUCKZA CRAPPA!" Maybe the Orange Box...

btw, Oblivion on the PC (assuming you have a competent graphics card) is by far the smartest thing I have chosen. Don't like something? Change it with the construction set! It also is pretty easy to make a TC out of it, or so I've heard. It's been my modder's training ground (whenever I want to do a mod), and the game itself has been the most hilarious and emotionally touching game ever... At least for me.

I might need to diagnose myself with a new syndrome: Roleplaica Obsessivo Syndrome.

Symptoms? Getting emotional with roleplaying characters, ending up doing game activities in real life (i.e. flailing a stick around and claiming its your enchanted longsword), and trying to talk in cheesy tones.

Woah... I got way off topic there...

EDIT: I also am waiting for UT3 and Dynasty Warriors 6 (Shin Shan Gokumusou 5 over at Japan).

I play it on Ultra High settings ^^ Very good looking.
I'm a khajjit named 'Firr' which is specialized in stealth, blade, light armor and marksman. I can also summon monsters from Oblivion (demon world).

The expansion pack of Sheogarath is really fun! (I dunno if you spell that like that)
It's a whole new big island, full with new plants, creatures quests and loads of other stuff. Sheogarath is the Deadra Prince of Madness (Deadra Princes are rulers of the planes of Oblivion) and you visit his plane of oblivion.

Anyways...

First I'm gonna buy the Orange Box.
Then I'm looking forward to Crysis, Far Cry 2, UT3, Halo 3... and... too many... games!!!

I couldn't even hope to getting all the games I want... well there is a chance, but still probably not all.

The Orange Box has HalfLife 2 Ep2. That game alone is worth the price of the entire package, such an incredible game. And you also get Portal and Team Fortress 2 along with the previous HL2 games as a free addition.

No one could possibly go wrong there.
