How does your desktop look like?

You remind me of my friend Yanick, cept for a long time, he had no icons on his desktop only some powerbar thing which turned invisible when not being used.

I think I take the cake for the most poorly detailed desktop.

(Fresh new hard drive, theres nothing on it except my antivirus and unreal tournament

Find a picture of just the Unreal logo with a black background and you'll have a good looking desktop.

i have a sketch of a guitar fretboard, indicating which note is associated with what fret/string

i have 3 icons on the desktop, and a toolbar for all my other stuff.. Winamp is of course always running up top..

I think you see my point of "desktop cleaning." Some of these stuff I don't even use or have installed. Just scraps left over from System Recovery XD.

Since XP, I got in the habit of creating custom toolbars with common programs or files I used. I have one for my computer, my documents and anything else I can think of.

It's pretty handy. The one below is the auto-hide one I have at work at the top of my screen.

Actually, I threw all my icons into a folder called Shortcuts, and put that as a little thingy on my tool bar.
